In the diagram above you highlight the select_one serial question. Note that this is a select_one question that is not populated by the pulldata function, it's values are coming from the choices tab. It looks like your form and method is working - you just need to update your choice list in the xls form.

Hi Joan At the moment, it is not possible to return address based on your location. We do have this as an open enhancement and will look to address this in the near future. In terms of editing of repeats - yes Survey123 now supports this, and re the custom urls it should look more like this (for opening up the field app - I assume this is what you want to do): arcgis-survey123://?itemID=89bc8c7844e548e09baa3aad4695e78b&field:AssetID={assetid}. You don't need the https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/ part. Please take a look at the following for more information: Integrate with other apps—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Thanks John

All you need to do is go to the file and copy the filename (including extention: stratum_profile.jpg) and then over paste it into the media::image column. I know that you have done this already - but for some reason Connect is not happy with the contents of the cell. Over pasting the value fixed to survey for me.

Hi M Torres It is currently only possible to use a calculation to update a value across all repeats. What you are asking is not currently possible. We can look at this as a potential enhancement though. Thanks John

Hi Dan We will get this fixed, and ensure that Connect checks the fields inside of a repeat too. Cheers John

Hi April Yes we support barcode questions in Survey123, and you are able to extract information from the string returned. For more information take a look at the following blog: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/05/17/understanding-barcode-questions-in-survey123-for-arcgis . As for the rest of your requirements - you can use the app's inbox to select at existing feature (i.e. an asset) and then add a record to a related table containing your inspection information. You can also use the information returned by a barcode scan to lookup and return information on an asset (using the pulldata() function). However as yet, it is not possible to use a barcode as the basis of selecting an existing record in the inbox for editing. We do have this open as an enhancement though. Thanks John

Hi Yuying - it sounds like you are following the correct workflow and it should result in an update to the form. Are you able to share the form and .csv (as well as the device, OS and version of Survey123 you are using) and I will try to replicate. Thanks John

This will be the issue, it was introduced in 2.5 Connect. I'll add your details to our internal bug. The workaround would be to manually delete the feature service view by going to the survey directory in ArcGIS.com. Make sure that you only delete the view and not the feature service.

We are aiming for 2.7 - there are just a couple of bugs that we need to iron out.

A quick blog to share the news that MyUSNG is now available in the Windows Store and can be downloaded for both Windows Desktop and Windows Mobile! For those that are unfamiliar with the app, the United States National Grid (USNG) is a nationally consistent language for location (displayed in a user friendly format), which is commonly used during Search and Rescue operations in the United States (http://usngcenter.org/). MyUSNG reports the location of your device in USNG the format, and includes a simple map that will let you capture the USNG of locations around you and share them. You can also center the map using USNG locations, a range of coordinate formats (including MGRS, USNG, UTM and Latitude and Longitude) or the World Geocode service. If you want to capture, and share locations with others then this is a valuable app for you! To get it on Windows Desktop and Mobile, go here: Get MyUSNG - Microsoft Store en-AU Or here for IOS and Android. Note that MYUSNG is an Esri Labs Project and is not an official product. It is built using AppStudio for ArcGIS.

Hi Neale Just for your information, Survey123 stores survey data in a non-encrypted sqllite database. Photos and other multimedia files are stored outside the database, but are also non-encrypted. At the current time we recommend the use of operating system and/or third party software/services to enforce security measures to protect the data. However we are looking to add the functionality to encrypt data within the sqllite database and enable the author of the survey for a future release. I'll add your request to the issue we have open for it. Thanks John
