Thanks for the context. So it would be passing certain attributes from a certain feature layer (in collector) to a different feature layer (in QC), so not populating the same data set. It could be the same layer or a different one. Cheers John

Hi Brian These are exposed as device variables, so you can assign them to any field that you like (as long as it is the right field type). Go here for more info: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/quickcapture/help/editproject.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_623F8C96724944728C33991B959B693F The device variables to use are: azimuth, pitch and roll and these represent the angles of the device when the project button was pressed, not when the photo was taken. If you want angles for the camera (when the photo was taken) then you can use: camHeading, camPitch and camRoll. They are all selectable in the designer when you update your project fields in the data tab. Thanks John

Hi Megan, this workflow is not supported. But is an interesting requirement. We are looking into supporting multiple project user inputs for a project. If we did this, and allowed each user input to be populated via a custom URL from Collector, then this could work. I'll note down this request in our repo. Thanks John

Hi Beth Before installing 1.9.120. Make sure that you uninstall any existing versions of the app that are already on the device. 1.9.120 should install on android 10 without any issue. Please let me know if you are still having issues. You can contact me through quickcapture@esri.com too. Thanks John

We are aware of an issue affecting the QuickCapture mobile app on iOS devices. When the user taps on a project button and the label text is read out using an incorrect voice/language - usually Arabic. This is a result of a change in iOS 14.0 which means that not all text to speech voices are available on the device by default. As a result, the user must manually download the required file so that it can be used by QuickCapture. To do this first check the language the device is set to by going to iOS Settings=>General=>Language & Region=>iPhone Language. For example, it may be set to English (US). Then go to Settings=>Accessibility=>Voice Over=>Speech=>Voice and download one of the available voices for that iPhone language. Once the download completes, QuickCapture will be able to use the voice and the issue will be resolved.

Hi NSW_SESGIS Q: Will it be possible to pass the camera output from the RPAS to QuickCapture so that the 2nd operator with QuickCapture can see the live video feed on their own device (not looking over the shoulder of the RPAS pilot) and record observations on what the RPAS is seeing. A: Not currently supported, but we'll add this as an enhancement. Q: The video above shows the Site Scan iPad displaying the pre-programmed flight route and progress, but has no live video imagery, and the QuickCapture device only has a map. I don't see how this can be used to collect data. I am assuming that the QuickCapture operator is looking at the RPAS pilot's screen and there should be an image in either the blank window at top right, which could be toggled with the main map. Is this correct? A: The Site Scan iPad will display the live video imagery (the video above shows a the simulator, which has no video feed). Yes, you are correct, the QuickCapture operator woud need to see the video in Site Sitescan in order to know when to capture features. Q: Also, will it be possible to take over flight control and pass location and imagery across to QuickCapture from Site Scan, or will this only work in programmed flight? A: Yes, you can take over flight control and still get the location in QuickCapture, programmed flight is not required.
