spatial.join silently returns 0 rows if a point has 'NaN' coordinates (arcpy engine)

Widget Editor - Forcing editors to use the dropdown menu
I have an edit widget with several fields. Those fields have a dropdown menus associated with them. But it appears that editors can also type in whatever text they want and completely bypass the dropdown menu. Can I disable to option for editors to type in their own values?
