This idea comes from the following post by @MollyJackson: Add batch edit widget to experience builder. To transition from WebApp Builder to Experience Builder, many of us require a SEPARATE attribute-only batch attribute editor widget. This widget would allow the user to update a subset of attributes for multiple features at once, but it would not allow modification of other attributes (or geometry). It also allows editing of multiple layers at the same time, which is another reason why this should be independent from the Edit widget.
This is unique from the functionality currently implemented within the Edit widget. The existing Batch Attribute Editor Widget in Web AppBuilder is precisely the functionality that many of us have business needs for.
With Web AppBuilder Developer Edition retiring this month and the entire platform retiring in Q1 of 2026, many of us are tracking this functionality. This thread can serve to track the status of the true Batch Attribute Editor Widget, independent from the Edit widget.
