Is it possible to edit the experience builder URL to make it human readable (e.g. using the title rather than the item ID) or to host an experience builder application on a custom domain?

Hi @CraigRussell, That solution works in the meantime. Has this bug been logged and do you know when it will be resolved? Thanks!

We want to be able to hide the attachment file names in our dashboards. It's not necessary for users to see the file name. A dashboard should be as simple as possible, only showing the most important information so that users can process and interpret it quickly.

Hi @CraigRussell, Yes, our organisation default language is set to English - English and number and date is set to Great Britain - Great Britain. We've checked our individual profiles and they are also using the same settings. We've even made sure that the date is in UK format in the layer pop ups, but no luck. When logged in or out on different devices the date still appears in US format. Is this a bug? It is essential that we can change the date format in our dashboards to avoid confusion for our British and European users. If the dashboard cannot automatically update the date settings based on the users locale, then there should be a setting to override this or the date should be shown in written format e.g. 16th March 2021. Thanks for your help

The date on our dashboards is appearing in the US format mm-dd-yyyy, even though we are in the UK and the system locale is set to en-GB. Is there a way to change the date format to UK dd-mm-yyyy?

Hi @GarrettRSmith , You could use web form URL parameters in the pop-ups of your map of campsites to auto-populate a field in Survey123: In your layer of campsites you should have a field containing a unique value for each campsite (e.g. campsite_name). Create a sign up form in Survey123 to collect the volunteers details and make sure you create a field for the unique identifier (campsite_name). Add the campsite layer to a web map and go to configure pop-ups. Within the pop-up add some text e.g. 'Sign up'. Highlight the text and click insert link. Paste the URL of your Survey123 sign up form and add the following text to the end of the URL '?field:campsite_name={campsite_name} Save the pop-up settings and check that the link appears when you click on a point in the map. Click on the link in the pop up and it should open the sign up form with the campsite name field auto-populated. Don't forget to make sure the personal details of any volunteers are shared in compliance with data protection laws.

Hi @GarrettRSmith. Here's the step-by-step instructions: Create a web map in ArcGIS online that contains your Survey123 point layer. In Survey123 Connect, open your survey form (it will open on the form preview tab) and then navigate to the 'Linked Content' tab at the bottom of the screen. At the top there is a '+ Link content' button. Click on the button and select 'Online map' from the options. Search for and select the map you made in step 1 using the name or item ID. Click OK. Now go to the 'Map' tab and click on the basemap icon on the right-hand side of the map preview. The map you added to the 'Linked Content' tab should appear as an option. Select your map and re-publish the survey. The map in your survey should now show the existing locations and your online map will automatically update as new records are submitted!

I've noticed that a line of white space has appeared between the cover image and the navigation bar in StoryMaps. I think this has only happened recently? Is there a way to remove this?

Hi @PatriciaAlgura and @Anonymous User, We'd also like to be able to snap to feature in the survey map. I've added this as an idea: Select a feature (or snap to a feature) in a linked web map Please upvote!

At the moment, it is possible to use a web map as a basemap in a Survey123 form. This allows us to add feature layers into the map, which can provide useful and important contextual information. There's more info on how to do this in the blog post Survey123 Tricks of the Trade: Configuring survey maps. It would be really useful if users could also snap/select a feature in the survey map and pull the geometry values (point, line or polygon) into the new survey record. The intention is not to edit the feature layer in the map, only use the same geometry. This is only currently possible using a separate web map and URL parameters, or experience builder. But it would be much more streamlined if it could be achieved within the survey form itself.

Hi @JustinPrather. Really appreciate your help. Our hub is really starting to take shape now, so if we can just fix these little niggles then we will be ready to launch. Thanks!

At the moment we can choose between two list styles; bulleted and numbered. A bulleted list uses the traditional bullet point symbol (a solid circle): example example example However, I'd like to be able to use other symbols, such as an empty checkbox (☐) or a square: ☐ example ☐ example ☐ example Similarly, there might be cases where we would want to use a different type of ordered list. Such as an ordered list with letters: a. example b. example c. example Or roman numerals: i. example ii. example iii. example

This would be really useful and definitely a feature that is needed if we want to start using StoryMaps as an alternative to PDFs. People are used to following links and jumping up and down sections in PDF reports (e.g. linking to an Appendix item for more detail), so the same functionality in a StoryMap would be ideal.

Hi @JustinPrather , Being able to assign human readable URLs to apps on the site would be a great improvement and I really hope this is something that could be possible one day. The workaround is a really useful tip - thank you! Unfortunately, I still get a double scrolling bar. I think that's because I've now added a footer to my site, as the extra scrolling bar now appears when I'm using the app URL or embedding the app on a page: This means that when I scroll to the end of the StoryMap, it jumps up and down a bit and gets 'stuck' before it switches to the other scroll bar and shows the footer. When I then scroll up again on the StoryMap, the footer stays at the bottom of the screen and the navigation bar of the StoryMap disappears: I'd be happy to have a quick chat with the research team about the page formatting and our bugbears with it. It would probably be quicker to capture in a conversation/screen share, but I can try to compile some notes if that would be useful. Thank you!
