Hello I used the Quick Report template to make an app that I can use to collect data in the field. Today I took it out into the field to test it. At one location, where I actually had cell service, I created an observation and saved it to my drafts folder since the cell service was spotty. When I got home this afternoon and connected to wi-fi I tried to submit the saved draft with two picture attachments. The first photo uploaded, then immediately afterwards I received an "Add new feature X Failed" message and the second photo is stuck on "Uploading...". Picture attached. I am not sure if I set up the feature layer correctly in the settings window. Here is the link that I pasted in: https://services6.arcgis.com/TRp7qJKKVWTcWaHY/arcgis/rest/services/arborglyph_locations_gdb/FeatureServer Maybe that is incorrect? Also, the Feature Layer (hosted) on my ArcGIS Online content page is shared as Public and has a yellow circle with a pencil that says that it is approved for public data collection. When I check the Settings I have "Enable editing" selected and allow people to "Add". All screen shots included below, including the app spinning. Thanks for any help, I am sure that it is something easy that I have messed up.

Hello I used the QuickReport template to develop an app for data collection in the field. The only things that I changed were text on pages and linking to my own content on ArcGIS Online through the "Settings" options. Most, if not all, of my study area is located outside of cell phone range. When I was in the field today testing and had no service I never received any location (GPS) coordinate information on the map page. Alternatively, if I opened up a survey on Survey123, even though I had no service, I still had GPS readings on my geopoint question. There is no map in the Survey123 window because the study area and affiliated mmpk are not in the same location I am hoping to use the QuickReport app. Is there something that I missed in trying to use this offline? I asked a question about loading an mmpk file but never received an answer on this forum. Does there need to be an mmpk map for the location to register? Also, since I am taking photos in the field, I thought that even if I was offline that photos would create a point based on their embedded geotagged data. Am I wrong about this? When I got back home and looked at my drafts folder every location captured offline has no location based data. If I cannot collect locational data offline then using the app is no better than using Survey123 which works fine offline. I am hopeful that this is simply my incompetence and not an inherent flaw in the app itself. Thanks for any guidance.

Hello I have a blank feature layer that is going to be used with a AppStudio app for data collection in the field. Before the app is deployed we have around 75 pictures that were collected in the field using individual's cell phones. I am looking for a way to add these photos to the feature layer in ArcGIS Online but have been unable to find any way to efficiently do this. Should I do it in ArcMap and then replace the feature layer with that was created using ArcGIS Online? I am just looking to see if there is a simple way to do this or will I have to go one-by-one? Thanks

Hello Everyone, I have about 75 geotagged photos that I want to upload to an existing ArcGIS Online feature layer. There are six attribute fields that I will have to populate. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to efficiently do this? Thanks and have a great day.

Hello Erwin Thanks for the link. I have linked the mmpk id in my setting page, per the link, using both the full address and just the simple identifier. However, when I switch my phone to airport mode when I am testing the app with both the full address and the id of the mmpk (different app updates) I still get a message that says that the map is not available offline. The mmpk on my ArcGIS Online account is set to public and I have reset all the settings in my app on my phone. If I go to the Refine Location Page while I am not in airport mode and switch to airport mode the map stays on the screen and I can scroll around on it. If I go forwards or backwards on the carousel on the header bar and come back to the Refine Location Page I loose the map if and I get the the same message that states that the map is not available offline. Do you have to side load offline maps like in Survey123? I have included screen shots and the mmpk if my text does not make sense.

Hello It is question palooza for me tonight, but I am almost ready to deploy my app for testing and want to ensure that everything is buttoned up. I have created a mmpk file from ArcGIS Pro and now I am trying to figure out where it should be placed in the files folder and subsequently how do you reference the mmpk file using the QuickReport template settings? Right now I have the mmpk file in the Assets folder of the app and have added the name of the mmpk to the Item ID for for Mobile Map Package field. Screen shot attached. When I update and test the app on my mobile phone in airplane mode I get an error on the Refine Location page that says the map is not available for offline use. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks everyone. The end may finally be in sight.

Hello I was wondering if there is a way to display the Display Name instead of the Field Name in the Quick Report Add Details Page? Right now the field names do not necessarily make sense if a user were to try and use the app. See the attached screen grab. Thanks

Hello Everyone. I worked out the problem. I initially uploaded a blank shapefile to ArcGIS Online. After reading some threads about spatial references in the ArcGIS Online community here I found out that there is an issue with uploading blank shapefiles and spatial reference errors. I deleted my Feature Service, added a point to the my blank shapefile in ArcMap, re-uploaded the Feature Service, and now everything works fine. I am able to see the spatial reference of the point layer now. That was a pain.

Hello I am working with the QuickReport template. Today I added a Feature Service via the Settings and now when I run the app it will not get past the disclaimer page. I also have a web map that I am using for the Refine Location page with the Feature Service as one of the layers. I get the following error: TypeErrror: Cannot read property 'spatialReference' of null I have included the screen shot of the error and the line(s) of code that the hyperlink links to if you click on it. I checked the Feature Service and it seems to have a spatial reference. I also copied and pasted the Feature Service layer used in the 311 app demo and it works fine. When I open the two Feature Services side by side in different windows the only difference I see in my metadata compared the file that actually works is that my layer does not have a spatial reference under extent. Could this be the issue? https://services6.arcgis.com/TRp7qJKKVWTcWaHY/arcgis/rest/services/Arborglyph_Locations/FeatureServer/0 If so, how do you add an extent to the layer. I have done it to the Feature Service.
