This would be really useful. Along with the ability to add icons and a suffix for units.

I want to add StoryMaps as 'pages' in my hub site. This is because I want to share a lot of information on one page (rather than having to get users to keep clicking to a new page) and I'd like to be able to provide the navigation bar for users to skip down to the most relevant section, if they wish to do so. The look and feel of StoryMaps is also much smoother and has clean, consistent formatting compared to when I try to replicate the same content on a hub page. However, if I add a StoryMap as a link in the header, the URL defaults to the app's item ID - this is not human readable and makes it difficult to share these pages using the URL alone. If I try to embed the StoryMap in a hub page, using an iframe or app card, the height has to be set in px and does not automatically adjust to the size of the users screen or the application. It also results in two scroll bars on the right hand side, which is clunky and annoying. The same applies when embedding Survey123 forms, especially if there are conditional questions or multiple pages and the height of the form changes dynamically. It would be great if we could change the URL of apps to a human readable format. This would make navigating and sharing site pages/apps much easier.

I support this idea too. Sometimes you will have several 'call to action' links at the end of a story, and it would be much nicer if we could add buttons in a horizontal row or a card gallery. Listing them vertically creates a lot of white space and additional scrolling. It can also give the impression that they are listed in order of importance. This could also be resolved by my idea to Add links/buttons to images in a gallery card.

The new gallery card is great for uploading multiple images and a big time saver. This block could be enhanced even more if we had the option to add links, buttons and/or text to images, similar to the gallery card in ArcGIS Hub or the 'Cards' template in Flourish. This could then be a nice way to share logos and links to organisation websites: Or a gallery of other apps/maps to explore: This looks much more interesting and interactive than a simple bullet point list of URL links! It would also be much quicker to configure than creating a custom app using the web app builder or experience builder.

When we share links to a survey on social platforms, the preview always shows the Survey123 logo and description. For example: It would be great if this could show the survey title, summary description and thumbnail instead.

What we would ideally like to be able to do: We are having an issue with the map extent re-setting between slides in a sidecar block. Sometimes we want to tell a story about spatial data, not about a single spatial location. So we want people to be able to zoom to their area of interest (e.g. their local neighbourhood) and then scroll through the StoryMap seamlessly, without having to manually zoom back in every time they scroll to a new slide or click on a map action. A second-best option: We have tried setting out our story map as one long single slide and using map actions so that our readers can manually change the layers. This is not ideal, as we would prefer the layers to automatically change rather than having to rely on our readers clicking a button. This would be preferable, however, to requiring our readers to keep finding their area of interest. This seems to work sometimes, but at other times the map resets on the button click. Whether the extent resets seems random; the same button may or may not reset the extent. We cannot work out what determines whether the extent resets of not. We have the following questions: What would you suggest as the best way to achieve a story map that allows our readers to scroll through multiple data layers, without requiring them to zoom to their preferred location of interest for each layer individually? Would it be possible for you to add in an option to keep the readers last extent when adding a new slide to a Sidecar in the future, please? We believe this used to be possible with the old story maps and was / would be a very useful feature. Is the map action button supposed to reset the extent or not? Is the fact it is sometimes resetting a bug or are we doing something that determines this? Is there any way to specify whether the extent is reset or not when setting up a map action?

This would be really useful. Sometimes we want to add the annotation/labels over the top of other map layers to help users to interpret the data.

The Rivers Trust also published our Annual Review for 2019-2020 in an ArcGIS StoryMap. We were a bit nervous using an online format for the first time, but people have loved it and sent lots of positive feedback!

Is it possible to set up a choice filter using a hidden calculation field, rather than a select_one or select_many field? For example, we have a hidden field (${organisation}) with the calculation: if(${total_score}>=10, 'organisation1','organisation2') I then want to apply a filter to a choice list based on the value of this field. I've followed the steps above, but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing a step? Or is it because it's not the correct field type?

I would like to set up a supporting team called 'Data Mangers' that has edit and update capabilities for only some of the content in our hub site. This is so that some trusted project partners can help me with QA/QC of the data, and keep maps and apps up to date. However, I don't want them to be able to edit and update the rest of the hub site and therefore I don't want to add them to the 'Core Team'. I understood that one of the benefits of hub premium was the ability to create teams of community users with different levels of access and edit privileges. However, when I create a new supporting team it automatically sets it as a group with no shared update capabilities. How do we create supporting teams with edit access to a sub-set of the site content?

@DataOfficer yes that's exactly what I meant. Does the issue with pop-ups still persist? I also have a point layer that I need to restrict the exact locations of. We don't want people to be able to view the precise locations of the assets when zoomed in, and the landowners have only agreed to share the data on this condition. I had hoped that restricting visible scales would be sufficient. It would be a real shame if I couldn't enable pop-ups as makes the data a bit pointless to the end user (pardon the pun!)

Has this issue been resolved? @DataOfficer have you tried creating a hosted feature layer view of the data you are trying to restrict, instead of setting the visible range in the map viewer?

This is a great idea and would really support collaborative working, especially for shared edit & update groups. It would be even more useful if group members could be notified when new comments are added or they are mentioned in a comment. An option to disable comments or notifications might be required for groups with a large number of members.

Hi @Anonymous User. We find that the language option is too small and not clear in the web form. Most of our users could not work out how to change the survey language without being instructed. As you can see below, the sign in bar blends into the browser controls and does not look like part of the form. It's also not clear that you can switch language of the form by clicking on 'English' to see more language options.
