I don't see any issue with including a hyperlink in the .csv, even if you need to sign in the view the photos if they are set as private.

This was resolved via a support case. You can update WMS/WFS service URLs using ArcGIS Online assistant, https://ago-assistant.esri.com/. Sign in to ago assistant, then click 'I want to' > Update the URL's of registered apps and services. Navigate to a particular web service, and update the URL accordingly. This should also preserve symbology, transparency and the view extents.

A recent update of the UK government data platform (environment.data.gov.uk) has changed all of the WMS/WFS URLs that we had previously saved as items and shared with our #opendata groups. This means that all of these layers have broken. There are dozens of maps, apps and story maps that are pointing to these layers, so we would like to be able to simply update the wms data source link in the item settings. However, this appears to be greyed out and cannot be edited. Is it possible to change the WMS/WFS links for layers that have been saved as items in ArcGIS Online?

Hi Kory, the project files are usually saved in a Dropbox synced folder, but sometimes (esp if i'm in a rush) they'll be saved in the default folder in another location. ArcGIS online layers are definitely the slowest, but I haven't been comparing shapefiles vs. file geodatabases. I will start paying more attention and let you know!

Hi Scott, we back up and share lots of our project files via dropbox, including GIS data. The files are saved to the disk drive and only 'synced' to Dropbox for backup/sharing. I 'pause' syncing (disable Dropbox) when I'm working on GIS to stop it running in the background and only turn on sync at the end of the day to back up any changes. This system has worked fine with ArcMap but is this an issue for ArcGIS Pro?

Hi Scott, I don't know for sure that the speed/freezing issues are entirely caused by my AV software. But having had our IT support investigate the issue, they said that it was isolating and scanning each file every time ArcGIS pro refreshed (or in this case anytime I tried to edit the data, change symbology etc.) The problem appears to be worse when using layers from ArcGIS online or dropbox synced files. Most of our data is synced with dropbox (we're a small organisation and all work remotely) so this can't be avoided. I experience none of these issues when carrying out exactly the same operations in ArcMap... The AV software is Sophos Endpoint. I believe it's possible to set up exceptions, but our organisation has been victim to several attempted cyber attacks recently and our IT contractors are hesitant to do this. I've submitted a support case so hoping to find a solution. Thanks!

I have also had this issue with virus scanning. ArcMap runs just fine using data saved in exactly the same location and using the same computer (above recommended specs). This is making it impossible to migrate to ArcGIS Pro as I can't even change layer symbology without the application freezing!

Thanks for the update. Do you know if they will be bringing this symbology to ArcGIS online? The current 'clustering' symbology doesn't work for most applications and doesn't allow you to add a count label. Would love to see something like the clustering tools in Google maps without having to create a custom application: GitHub - googlemaps/js-marker-clusterer: A marker clustering library for the Google Maps JavaScript API v3.

Please add me to this list. We really need this feature to streamline our workflow! Currently our field workers are having to scroll through a long list of options every time they create a record. Only a few of these options are relevant, based on their response to an earlier question about the asset type, but there is no way to filter the choice list for the select multiple field. Thanks

Is there a time frame for this update? Not having this tool is really frustrating. Would also like to see the symbology in the 'Summary Viewer' web app template made available in online maps or other configurable app templates.

Hi, We would also like this as a feature! We often embed map journal and cascade story maps into bulleted or tabbed map series templates as you have shown in the examples above. However, sometimes we want a narrative focused tab and we don't want the user to have to scroll past a large cover page with huge title font. This can be distracting and gives the user the impression that you are adding emphasis to this title over other tabs (which is incorrect). If the cover page cannot be removed/hidden, then at the very least it would be nice if we could adjust the size and positioning of the title font to be more in-keeping with the rest of our map series. Thanks, Anneka

Did you update to the latest version of Survey123 connect before you re-published the form? If you were still using version 2.7, you can set the form to revert to the older version of the web app. See below: If you published in an earlier version (before 3.0) then switching this setting off should stop the form from glitching. If not I'm afraid you need to wait for them to fix the bug - this is in the product plan for the next update. Workaround from Esri: "Do not use the web version of Survey123 for ArcGIS to submit the surveys or use the ArcGIS Online hosted feature layers to submit the surveys through the web." Hope that helps!

If you can submit the form successfully yourself then perhaps it is an issue with the data they are entering into the form? Text fields are limited to 255 characters in Survey123 by default, so of if they are trying to submit longer pieces of text then it will fail to submit. You can override the default string length using the bind::esriFieldLength column in the .xls form

Does your form contain repeat fields (relational tables)? There seems to be an issue with repeats that is causing an error in the latest version of the webform..
