It would be great if there was an option to add code snippets with syntax highlighting, as you can in this text editor. This would be useful when creating user guides and manuals in a story map format.

I would like to be able to add images and videos using a link (as is possible in classic story maps). I use a lot of images directly from our website or video links from youtube/vimeo. These are often uploaded or shared by other memers of the team, so original copies aren't always available. This would save a lot of time downloading and organising files on the desktop.

Is it possible to change your ArcGIS Online username to your organisation name when you're sharing data to the Living Atlas? For example, it current shows the owner of the data as "RTanneka", but I would like it to show up as "The Rivers Trust"

You are right, the problem wasn't with the file names. Problem is you can't have special characters in folder names so it's still throwing an error when it comes across a group with special characters...

I'm hoping there is a way to edit the script so that it will ignore special characters when naming the new .lyr files. My mxd contains over 100 different layers so manually changing the layer names to remove any special characters would be extremely time consuming. Some symbols, like the copyright symbol, are also quite important so would only like them removed in the file name, not the layer name.

I'm trying to save all layers in my mxd as .lyr files using the script below. However, I'm getting an error because some layer names contain special characters (e.g. © : * ) and cannot be written into file names. How can I make sure special characters are ignored/replaced? import os basepath = r'C:\Users\Anneka\CaBA_Data_Phase_5\Layers' mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT") for lyr in arcpy.mapping.ListLayers(mxd): if lyr.isGroupLayer == True: grpPath = os.path.join(basepath, str(lyr)) if not os.path.exists(grpPath): os.makedirs(grpPath) else: fn = os.path.join(basepath, str(lyr) + ".lyr") lyr.saveACopy(fn) print "Saved: " + fn

What does multiple themes mean? Can you create multiple web forms with different themes from the same survey?

In this use case, we would like to have two web forms that populate fields in the same feature service: Form 1: Users can submit records for a few simple fields (shared publicly). Form 2: Allow users to fill out all fields in the feature service (shared privately with a group). Ideally, form 2 would allow users to search for records submitted in form 1 and update the record with more detailed information from within the web form (not mobile/desktop app/web map). Is this possible? Survey123 for ArcGIS

This is really important for producing maps and story maps that are accessible to people with visual impairments. This paper sums it up nicely: Color Design for the Color Vision Impaired | Jenny | Cartographic Perspectives

We would find this very useful. For example, sometimes we want to highlight points in story maps. This is not necessarily based on attributes, but sometimes just based on the narrative, so it does not make sense to add extra fields to record this in the data set.

There is now a workaround using arcade expressions, however this is not dynamic and you will need to regenerate the URLs each time new records are added: https://community.esri.com/community/gis/web-gis/arcgisonline/blog/2019/03/22/show-attachments-in-pop-ups-with-arcade-expressions
