Hi Adam - I tested on an IPhone 7 and a Samsung S6. Could you let me know the Android versions you are running. See see if I can test something more similar. The other thing to check is the storage on the devices - do you have much capacity available?

Hi Jennifer Survey123 currently does not support nested repeats. However, we hope add support for this functionality in time for the UC. I will add your request to our internal issue. You should still be able to create a survey that targets both the parent feature layer and child table. More than likely the existing feature service has not been configured for Survey123 (there are some specific requirements such as supporting edits using gloablids). Please take a look at the following resource: Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS and confirm that the feature service meets the requirements and that you are referring to the feature service item in the submission url. Please let me know if you need any further assistance - are you able to share the service? Thanks John

Hi April As the data owner - you will always see the feature service and all the records it contains. Others in the organisation will see either the fieldworker or stakeholder views depending on their role (collecting data or viewing results). It would seem that there is a discrepancy between the views and the feature service. This is likely to be permissions based, so the first thing to compare the is the permissions on the feature service and the view, to see if they are limiting what other users can see. I'm not sure how you shared your views, but I assume that you did the following: In the Survey123 website (survey123.arcgis.com) go to the survey collaborate and then click viewer and remove and reapply the permissions (i.e. unshare and then share). If not, please try this and then test with another user login. If this does not fix things, another option is to recreate the view by going into arcgis online (the survey folder) and deleting the stakeholder view. Going back into the Survey123 website and then sharing the survey under viewer once more will recreate the survey view. Again, retest with another login. Please let me know if you need any further help. Thanks John

Hi Kendra The form has a couple of issues: 1) You are using + instead of the concat() function. The webform does not support the use of + to create a string 2) The .csv has a column title with spaces in it - try updating it to be: GRSM_Scientific_Name_GRSM_Code_USDA_Code_USDA_Common_Name Fix those two things and the form will run. Thanks John

Hi Adam I have tried your survey on a selection of devices and have not been able to replicate this behaviour. Could you confirm what version of Survey123 you are using as well as the Android versions you are running? Thanks John

Hi Christoper Note that "edit and resend" is accessed through the Sent box. For reference: please see Recover data from a mobile device Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS for steps on recovery of data. When submitting, you could attempt to submit to a new version of the service (with the same schema, but no records) to see if you can get around "Code 1000 - Cannot insert duplicate key row in object...". At least this would get the surveys off the device. In terms of best practice, the issue you are experiencing is likely to be due to the large number of photos being submitted. Whether you submit on collection, or when you are back in the office, should not matter. The important thing to ensure is that you are using a good WIFI connection when doing so. As mentioned before, please feel free to share your survey and database with me (privately) and I will take a look. Thanks John

Hi Christopher We are changing the way that we submit attachments in 2.7 and I believe that the new method may help avoid your error. We now upload attachments first and then submit the survey. Are you a member of the early adopter program? If so I will share the latest build with you for testing (if you are happy to). Alternatively - please share your database with me and your survey form (so I can recreate the service) and I will try. Thanks John

Hi Jim It is possible to launch another camera app from Survey123 by putting a url in the calculation field of a note question. This is an example from the Trek2There sample availble in Connect. concat('<a href="arcgis-trek2there://?stop=',${lat},',',${lon},'">Launch Smart Compass</a>') However, IOS requires the whitelisting of the apps that Survey123 can launch, and at the moment we have not whitelisted any external camera apps. At the moment your best option is to open the Solocator app, take the photo and save it to the device. You can then use an image question in Survey123 to open, attach and submit the photo with the survey Please note that we do have an enhancement request open that would provide the ability to save text in the captured image and I will add your request to it. Thanks John
