Hi Aaron This is the result of a data validation rule that is applied to the name field (not the note field). It looks like you may have done some copy and pasting in the form and this shifted to a different column, To disable the error message go to Data=>Data tools=>click the data validation button Then un-tick the the show error alert message box below and click OK. The error message will no longer display. Cheers John

Hi Josh If I understand you correctly - you want to update pole_condition based on the answer in quick_pick. If so then the following should work: if(selected(${Quick_Pick},'ok'),'OK', if(selected(${Quick_Pick},'no_inspect'),'null', '')) - if you select OK in quick_pick then we will select ok in pole_condition - else if you select no_inspect in quick_pick then we will select null in pole_condition - else we return nothing Note that 'null' would be a choice in your list in the above. Hi John First of all making a question required/un-required should not prompt republishing of the service. I note that the error message that it looks like there is an issue with the related table. Could share a bit information on the survey (or even better email it to me) and let me know if this an AGOL hosted service or otherwise, and I will try to replicate this. In terms of your workaround - yes if the schema of the new survey/service matches the original survey/service you will be able to append the data to it and yes your will be able to see the appended data in the Analysis tab of the Survey123 Website. Another approach would be to build a new survey based on the existing feature service. Take a look at the following resource: Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS . Hi Colin - I have raised this as a bug as I was able to replicate the behaviour. The only workaround is take a photo using the native camera app and then add it as an attachment to the survey (as you described). I'll update this post when I have more information. Thanks John

Hi Kendra The thing that is causing this issue is the following: int(pulldata('cover_lookup','value','cover',${T2_Range})) - note that there are a few examples of this in your survey. This returns an integer, but you are using it to update a text question. You should remove the int() statement - or use a integer or decimal question instead.
