Robert, I have downloaded your newest version and I'm still having an issue with the sorting. I looked and my service is set to Support Advanced Queries. Attached is screenshots off all my settings and results. As you can see that I have it sorted by last name and than first name. And the first name is all over the place on the results pane; it goes Glenn, Carie, Emmer. Not much of sorting.

Thanks for the clarification on the ZoomScale. Allowing a user to set a zoom scale not only to a point but to polygon would be a great addition to tool, if possible. With me I am searching extremely small parcels, that it zooms so far in, that the searcher can't even see the streets at that scale. For the Result Item Sorting, I just realized I'm a version behind, so I will be updating to your current version to take advantage of that option. Keep up the awesome work. Your search widgets have always been great to work with.

Robert, I have two questions for you. First I am trying to change my Zoom Scale in the layer search. It doesn't matter what I put in that scale box always zooms into the same scale. Is there something I'm missing. The second question is, what does it base the search results order off? I'm having it search by name and some names could produce 100 search results. Thanks for the help and clarification.

I want the the ability to modify the min and max extent of the Overview Widget. Along with the ability to change the map service it is pointing into, insetad of it automatically using the default basemap.

Does anyone know if you can change the max and min extent that the Overview Map displays at. In my flex application, I was able to set the max and min extent that the overview map zooms into and zooms out to. In addition I was able to set it to display a completely different service than my default basemap. This would be most useful with my WAB project I'm creating. Is there a way with any additional coding? I am using WAB 1.1 and Portal 10.3.1.

After some research and help from ESRI, we have found the reasoning behind this. The data field display width is going off the longest first word in that layer and then stopping it there. So if you have a lot of short words than the width is going to be slim. If you have a really long first word in one of the fields then it will be wider. The support technician with ESRI placed a bug for this issue for me. The workaround for this is to custom displays for the data instead of just field display.

Has anyone had an issue with using composite address locators in portal. I created a composite address locator and published it as a geocode service on my arcServer. Than under utilities added it to my Portal. When testing it in the map viewer it will pull up my suggestions but will not locate anything. I tried to link to the service as http and https and same results. I linked to the same geocode service in ArcGIS Online and it works with no issues. I tried both of the address locators that the composite locator was made from on my Portal and they work without issue too.

Has anyone came across an issue with the image not showing on point searches? The default image for a point search is binoculars and when you do a search an image of the binoculars shows on the map at each result and on the results pane list. When I do a search instead of the binoculars image I get an image placeholder image both on the search results pane and on the map.

I now have this resolved. It was a two part fix. First my DNS was not resolving my external domain name on the server and second my certificate was not working. Once I had IT fix both, it started working right away.

I am using the Information Lookup Web Application thru portal and I have two layers displaying in the popup window. One layer's data is all spread out displaying nicely and the other layer's data is all squeezed, and wrapping text at a different length than the other layer. What setting do I have different between the two layers that causes one layer to look one way and the other layer to looked squeezed.

This allowed me to change the widgets displaying over the map. And then going into the individual css file of the Home widget I was able to change the the color and alpha. What about the plus and minus tool that zooms the map in and out so I can make them all match?

I ran fidler under the ArcGIS Server user and got a couple blocks. It says the connection to gis.adamscounty.org failed. System Net.Sockets.SocketException No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it xx.xxx.xx:443. The Xs are the static IP of the server firewall. It cannot find anything packets being blocked on Port 443. So I am curious if it still possibly be a firewall issue, or a setting within my ArcServer. I have my protocol for server configured to HTTP & HTTPS.

I have the Default Print Widget loaded in my Web App Builder Application and it Errors out when trying to Print while in Web App Builder Developer and when I have it downloaded to my server. It is saying it can't connect to my map server. I can access the rest points of my services, and I can view and search them using other widgets within the same application. I can also access the Print Utility rest point without issues also at https://gis.adamscounty.org/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task . I do not have my server locked down at all, so everything should be open. I am using ArcServer and Portal 10.3.1. I have contacted ESRI support but they have yet to figure out why, and I think they are just grasping at anything with the suggestions they are making me try.
