@JRuggeri This is a common use case and is certainly possible. The options are dependent on your GIS setup, the ArcGIS Apps being used and the required capabilities. Good place to start: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/take-maps-offline.htm

@AmirBar-Maor , @DanielStone for review on Parcel Fabric data requirements. @JayCary Is there a data validation check to differentiate various curve types, non-linear segments?

@Serigne_MomarThiam Based on your information, I do not see any compatibility issues. Does the geodatabase connection from ArcGIS Pro validate? If not, you should troubleshoot this before proceeding with registering database connection with ArcGIS Server.

@Serigne_MomarThiam Perhaps it is an older connection file and parameters are no longer valid. Suggest to recreate the connection file on the machine where you are registering the database connection. The error message suggests a parameter is missing. When recreating the Geodatabase connection, you will validate all the connection parameter and then register with server. 64-bit Microsoft ODBC driver for SQL Server is required. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/databases/connect-sqlserver.htm

@MDB_GIS Thanks for documenting your notes - these are valid points. We run into these situations in other domains as well, where curves are not our friends. Few suggestions for review and testing. Please post if they meet the use-case / requirements. Nonlinear Segment check: identifies polyline or polygon features that contain nonlinear segments. Nonlinear segments include those that contain circular or elliptic arcs and Bézier curves. Feature integrity checks are available with ArcGIS Data Reviewer. Generalize feature: Use Densify method for generalizing selected features (Bezier curves as detected from #1 above). The tool will insert vertices at constant intervals and change curved segments to a series of line segments. You can insert segments that approximate the entire feature or modify only the curved segments within a maximum offset distance or deflection angle. Densify GP tool: Adds vertices along line or polygon features and replaces curve segments (Bezier, circular arcs, and elliptical arcs) with line segments. Geodetic Densify GP tool: Creates new features by replacing input feature's segments with densified approximations of geodesic segments.

Route Dominance rules are configured at the Network Route level and applies to both point and linear events. Second option, is at the Network Event level. Extending the Event Attributes may look like: Primary Route Primary Measure Secondary Route Secondary Measure R1 100 S1 50 R2 200 S2 150 Use GP tools like Update Measures From LRS or Locate Features Along Routes to update the secondary route and measure attributes You may come up with your own/custom method to update the secondary route attributes.

Given the use-case, I believe the mentioned steps would produce the desired results. I agree the process could be simpler if, Generate Points Along Lines (Data Management) had an option to use a Table with attributes for Distance or Percentage. But then, it would be similar to using Event table and make Route Events. Feel free to post an enhancement idea that would best meet the requirements.

@Jol1234 Depending on the situation, there are multiple ways to handle this situation. Suggest reviewing the following resources, test the option that best applies to your use case. Routes are concurrent, the dominant route is defined Route dominance Configure Route Dominance Rules Extend the Event Attributes Events are tied to a single route, using business logic to define the primary association Event attributes can be extended to capture secondary route and measure Use GP tools like Update Measures From LRS or Locate Features Along Routes to update the secondary route and measure attributes

@James_Norquest Recommend to review the Water Distribution Utility Network Foundation. The solution package includes a data model (file geodatabase) with configured utility network (for network connectivity). I realize this is for Water Distribution but still a good template to start with and extend as needed.

@AndrewLaux FromDate/ToDate are APR managed fields and cannot be updated manually; this is important for data integrity and keep routes, calibration points, associated events in sync. Hence, the error returned when modifying APR reserved fields is as-designed and expected. Reference: LRS data model The best practice is to perform versioned editing and QA/QC before posting edits. If this is not a production/versioned environment, it would be best to delete and reload.
