In ArcMap, you can dock the Identify window to one side, set to autohide, then it will expand in the same place when you use the Identify tool rather than popping open wherever you left it last or in the middle of the map.

Thanks for considering it. Yes, I "fly under the radar" sometimes for other things and thought about it in this case.

Owen, I'm working on my first Cascade and have reached a point where I'm thinking that I need to do some reorganizing and see what's missing, look for typos, etc. A paper copy would be very helpful because I could make notes on paper before tinkering with the app. The app too rough to share with anyone outside a group. The ability to print drafts would be very, very helpful.

It doesn't look like the interface customizations, favorites, etc. go with a package, template or project. Those are in files in your user profile on your machine (user/appdata/...). The hacks that I linked to tell you which folders/files in your profile will contain the customizations. You can copy those files from your machine and put them on another person's computer, or on another computer that you use. Because the files go in the user profile, each person who uses the computer will need the files added to their personal profile.

It think you're hitting bug BUG-000103090, originally reported with Pro 2, then I reported it for ArcMap 10.5. It was supposedly fixed in Pro 2.1.2, but we are seeing the same problem intermittantly. The problem is only with tifs, so convert your files to jpg before trying to georeference them. If you have previously georeferenced tifs, use the Raster to Another Format tool to convert it to something other than tif. Update, using Pro 2.1.2: it is also happening with jpgs now. Also, sometimes the image just disappears when you save georeferencing then close georef mode. Start georef mode again, and the raster reappears. The same raster will display in ArcMap 10.6. And yet another: sometimes you click to add a control point, but the cursor never changes and you can't add a point. All of these problems happen whether you have the Pro options set to use world files or not. We've resorted to georeferencing with 10.6. So far, ArcMap is working for us. Clearly, the bug that I was told is the cause doesn't explain all of the problems that we're seeing.

I'm seeing this with our Portal. The last that I heard, it's running 10.5. I have Collector 17.0.4 on an iPad. Several fields have domains and the descriptions are used for symbolizing. The field do NOT have subtypes. Same as others have reported: everything is okay on a desktop and when using the map live in Collector. But in a downloaded map, the list for choosing type of feature to create and the dropdown picklistss show the codes, not the descriptions.

Amy, I just saw your question. Side-loading consists of preparing the tile package, then use iTunes to transfer it to the appropriate app on the iPad. When you connect the iPad to iTunes, file transfer is on the Apps tab, scroll to the bottom to see which apps use this transfer method.

When a feature has several related tables, clicking Show related records in the WAB popup opens all of those tables. In a web map, the user can pick which table to see. Users have to click the tiny Xs for each table. The same can happen if a user opens attribute tables for several layers, perhaps to compare something. How about a Close All button?

Thanks for the tip, Owen. I'll give that URL modification a try soon. I've been sidetracked on other things recently, but hope to get back the Cascade app this week. As for adding images directly, yes, I've done that in a few cases. However, by loading them in the National Park Service Gallery, they can be easily found and used by park staff or the public from there. It's a place where people can view all sorts of images, PDFs, and other items that NPS wants to share. Metadata is included, so people who like a photo can find you if they have a question (that really happens). And if I have a large number of images, such as a few hundred gravestones, the Gallery staff will batch load them for me. I've found that the load times are very fast. If they weren't I'd be looking at other options.

The National Park Service has a public online gallery where staff can upload and share photographs and other items. I've uploaded many photos and pdfs there and used them successfully in the Journal, Series, and Tour story maps and the Web AppBuilder. The photos always load quickly and the popouts are high resolution. But when I paste a URL from the gallery into Cascade, the builder insists that isn't a photo. Here's an example that is in use in a Map Journal app, but Cascade rejects it. https://focus.nps.gov/GetAsset/a6849ecb-2962-4a87-b090-931254c679b9. Yes, I realize that the URLs don't end with jpg or other format, but that has never been a problem in other apps. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi, Ismael, This will be very useful as we get into testing mobile and external GPS this summer. I hope that you can get IOS devices to read the accuracy of the receiver soon. I've noticed that the dashboard report for a single record shows only 4 decimals for the location. I will definitely add the pulldata functions to the survey, so that should, if I'm understanding correctly, give as many as 10 decimals. Is it possible in the spreadsheet to limit the number of decimals to 5 or 6? 10 would be misleading.

We are just starting to experiment with Survey123, but the issue that George brings up is likely to be a deal-breaker for us. I work for a government agency and my work belongs to the government, not me. It is supposed to stay on a server where it is backed up. I have to be able to share and to archive files. The only option is to manually copy the 123 folders to a server every time there is a new survey or a change. I have enough to do without adding that. Also, I need to keep working files organized so that I can find them quickly. Everything pertaining to field forms and related services needs to stay in one place where it's easy to find. If it's scattered, some on a server, some buried in my profile... again, I don't have time for that. And to expand on George's point, this means that no one else can take over a survey if the person who created it leaves, perhaps suddenly with no warning. Nor can you start a project, then hand it over to an assistant. What about organizations that use roaming profiles? The more files in your profile, the longer it takes to log on. I do hope that Esri will add the ability to store Survey123 folders in multiple locations, including servers, soon. Thank you, Jill

Bugs. I've quit counting. Side-loading through iTunes works, but I'd really rather give the field crews one single workflow via download. Hopefully, they squash this one soon. Thanks, Dan
