I use the wizard several times a month to extract subsets of three or four feature classes, one table, and relationship classes. Everything is transferred in one run of the tool, and the relationships and domains remain intact. It's about the only thing that I use ArcMap for now, so I can't give it up completely.

Attribute tables jumping to different records, fields resizing, etc. was a major problem until a few versions ago (don't remember which). I remember all of the problems were finally fixed by an update in 2020, maybe 2.5.2. It was a major reason I didn't use Pro on a regular basis until that update. Really disappointing to see this is back.

Kristen described our situation perfectly. In fact, a quick poll of our archeologists a few months ago showed nearly 60 of us using our portal for GNSS. The number continues to climb as those of us already using Survey123 tell others about it. We also need a report for features collected with Field Maps. At this point, the only option is to convert the attribute tables to Excel, link from Access to populate a form that mimics the report format needed, then export that as a PDF.

I just tried out the Extract Data by Feature tool in Pro, and while it’s a start, it lacks parameters that would make it fully equivalent to the ArcMap wizard. As it is now, it doesn’t do the job for me. The biggest problem is that it doesn’t honor selections. I thought all GP tools do that, but with this tool. there are only two ways to filter the data: set definition queries and a polygon to define the limits of the data to be extracted. In a lot of cases, you’d have to create a poly for AOI, yet another step. But what if the features you need are scattered among others you don’t need. That means a lot of time spent working out complex definition queries for multiple layers. Then there are the standalone tables. The tool did indeed include the relationship classes, but the only way to limit the tables is more definition queries. By the time I jump through all of those hoops, I could open ArcMap and run the wizard several times just by selecting the features, then pushing the relates to select table rows.

Maybe this is just me, but ... I tend to keep several panes active in Pro, but on auto-hide at the side of the map, but I find the way that the panes operate can be annoying. As different panes open when I start tools, symbology, etc., the clutter of little side tabs gets crazy and I want to close some panes altogether. Some tabs don't auto-hide, so I have to deliberately close them. Early on with Pro, you could use the Escape key to hide a pane that had remained open, like in ArcMap, but that disappeared at some point. Now I have to find the side tab for the pane and click it to rehide the pane. But where the right one in this clutter? Having the tabs in default alphabetical order would help me find a tab faster. And do something to highlight the active/open tab, maybe a color. And maybe right-click on the tab or pane title to hide it. One more gripe. When a hidden pane is opened, the top of it covers the window tabs across the top (maps, layouts, etc.) The open pane needs to be lowered just enough to keep the top tabs visible. I'm using Pro's Map Series to produce maps for our staff archeologists to use in the field. Paper pdfs are helpful, but I need georeferenced output that can be used by Avenza and Trimble Terrasync as background files. To get those, I have to page through the series, activate the map frame and export each map separately. Being able to batch export, with world files, would be a huge time saver. I'll take a look at the python possibilities, but I don't have time to learn much about coding.

Seems to me that if the Catalog Window showed folders, maps, etc. in a tree, that would solve a lot of the problems. I prefer the window to the pane because of the preview, but it's frustrating and a big time waster to have to climb up and down the ladder, so to speak, to find anything. Another possibility would be to give users the option to sync the window and pane - if I click on a folder in the pane, the window goes there, too.

Update on my previous. I continue to have problems publishing to our portal from Pro. But I don't think that it's a corrupt file issue after all. Publishing from Pro is inconsistent, sometimes it works, sometimes not. New projects, old projects, new service, overwriting a service - I never know what will work and what won't. A couple of years ago, ArcMap wouldn't work for publishing, so I switched to Pro for services. Now Pro won't publish a lot of the time, but ArcMap will. This is a huge time-waster. Every 6 months or so I have to re-create maps, services, web maps and applications because I've had to change the publishing workflow depending on which software is acting up.

Four years after this was first requested, nothing has improved. Maybe a little color has been added to icons, but the quick tools - and everything else in the UI - are pale, low-contrast and small. Lines and text are thin. This low visibility is especially bad with the dark theme, which should be better on your eyes, but instead it's just harder to distinquish anything.

Now that favorites persist when you start a new project in Pro (currently at 2.3), I find them useful - somewhat. But, as my list of favorite GP tools grows, it's getting harder to scan through the list because it's in the order the tools were added, not alphabetical. Same with symbol favorites. Personally, I'd find the favorites lists much easier to work with if they were in alphabetical order. I know there's a search, but that works best if you already remember the name of whatever you're looking for.

Yes, please. We have many subfolders with the same names. I recently assumed that you can use aliases, like in ArcCatalog, but instead discovered that I had actually renamed the folder, so my maps all had broken links.

I encountered a similar problem last November. After installing Pro 2.2.3, I was unable to publish any of the map in one project. But I could publish from a second project. The portal had been upgraded to 10.6. I tried all sorts of experiments, including a new project with all new maps. If finally resorted to publishing from ArcMap. This morning, I uninstalled Pro 2.2.3 and installed Pro 2.3 for a fresh start. I tried publishing from the existing project, but again, failure. Since you can now start Pro without a template, I tried that. New map, added the data, presto, it published! It doesn't look to me like a Pro-Portal version compatibility issue. You can continue using an older project with newer versions of Pro. I think the original project was corrupted. The replacement was based on the original, so it must have inherited the problem. Hopefully that makes sense.

Still waiting. I'm getting a new Win10 computer soon and there is apparently no way to migrate user profiles. This will kill my existing surveys if I can't copy-paste the folder to the new computer. Also - there are several related threads now, so if you can, go vote for those, too. https://community.esri.com/ideas/15544-save-survey123-designs-and-surveys-in-a-conventional-folder https://community.esri.com/ideas/14814-publish-survey123-in-specific-folders

Pro's Extract Data doesn't include relationship classes and related standalone tables, either.
