Hi Jake One thing to check is the sharing permissions of the service - does this match the survey and does it allow anonymous submission?

Hi Dexter It sounds like the stakeholder view has not been updated. When you share a survey via the viewer tab, a stakeholder view is created in AGOL. If you go into AGOL and delete the view, and then reshare the survey via the survey123 website (which will recreate it), this should fix things. Note that you may need to clear your browser cache. Thanks John

Hi Joel Only codes (i.e. values) are included in the survey payload. Not names (i.e. labels). The name is actually a property of the service and it is not included in the survey submission. I'll get this added as an enhancement request. Thanks John

Hi We have made a change to the way that the inbox and drafts do calculations, as a result of user feedback and bugs raised. Essentially, users were unhappy about the fact that when a survey was loaded/opened, calculations would fire and values would be overridden - even if the user had manually typed something in. To make the behavior more predictable, on load from the Inbox or Drafts, the survey values will match whatever was entered in the form when it was submitted/saved - i.e. no calculations will run. However, when you update the values in the form - calculations should be triggered if they reference another question that has changed. This looks to be a bug and we will get this looked at. For the time being, the user will need to manually recalculate if working from drafts/the inbox. Thanks John

Hi Shira, In general, you can't modify the appearance of the geopoint questions in the Web App - apart from two exceptions: 1) Publishing a survey from Connect will add an altitude field to the question. This is because the created service supports altitude. Surveys created on the web do not support altitude, so the field is missing. 2) You can set the appearance value of a geopoint question to hide-input in connect and republish. When viewed in the Survey123 web app the question will appear with read-only coordinates, as opposed to the default coordinate input box. Note that this appearance value does not apply to the Survey123 field app. Could you share the specific things you would like to update? Thanks John

Hi Dan We made a change to 3.0 that requires all services to supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds (this should be true). You will need to enable this capability on your service. Feature Layers and supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds: Starting with version 3.0 you will no longer be able to submit surveys or publish/republish a survey against a feature service that does not have the supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds property set to true. While this requirement is not new, we previously only enforced it for surveys with repeats. It is therefore possible that your existing ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise feature services don’t have this capability– so please check them to ensure that they will work when you update. The easiest way to enable this property is to simply enable the sync capability (Synchronization) on your feature service. Please follow instructions in the Allow offline editing or collaboration section of the Manage hosted feature layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS help topic for details on how to enable the sync capability. If working with ArcGIS Server, remember that you cannot turn on sync if your data is versioned or if your layer lacks an indexed GlobalID field. Thanks John

Trek2There has been updated! Version 3.0 includes a number of fixes and some exciting new functionality. The biggest change to Trek2There is that you can now connect to external GNSS receivers. The most common connection we expect users to try is a Bluetooth connection to a receiver from Trek2There on your Windows, iOS or Android device, but you can also connect via USB (on Windows) or a TCP/IP connection (any device) to a receiver on the same network. External GNSS receiver support To see what devices should work with Trek2There see: Supported devices. To connect to a GNSS receiver in Trek2There you must first pair it to your device. Typically, launch the Bluetooth settings page on your device, browse for your receiver and connect to it. For more information on pairing see: API Guide. Once your receiver and device are paired, you can browse for the receiver in Trek2There. To do this: - Launch Trek2There - Go to the settings page and choose ‘Use external receiver’ - On the search external receiver page, select the receiver from the list. Once you are successfully connected, you will be returned to the settings page. - Enter a destination and return to the navigation page. On the navigation page, you will see the distance and bearing to your destination. Whilst you are using an external receiver, you will see an icon in the top right-hand corner (looks like a satellite). This indicates that the external receiver is in use. If this icon disappears, it means you have switched to using the internal position source (for example, perhaps the external receiver’s power has gone off). If you shut down Trek2There and restart it, the external receiver should be remembered and you shouldn’t need to configure it again. It will take a few seconds to reconnect, but it should be automatic. Whilst it is connecting you should see a progress icon in the top right-hand corner of the navigation page (where the satellite icon will display). Using Trek2There with an external receiver is a great way to navigate to a feature or location that is not in a published route-able network. It's also a good way for you (and us) to get ready for GNSS receiver integration in other Esri apps. Sneak peak: Based on this work in Trek2There, Survey123 will be getting the GNSS receiver makeover next! Bug fixes and other improvements - A destination can now be entered as decimal degrees, degrees minutes seconds, degrees decimal minutes, UTM (WGS84) or MGRS coordinates. - Bearing values is displayed on the navigation page (as well as the direction arrow). - Accuracy value now shown to two decimal places. - Reduced direction arrow bouncing when stationary. - Now when using the experimental compass mode, you will see a compass indicator in the top left-hand corner of the navigation page as a reminder. - Improved timing and display of arrival at your destination. - Improved speed in getting a 'fix' when Trek2There is launched from another app. - Coordinates can now also be copy / pasted from another app on Android (previously only iOS). - On Windows, when you launch Trek2There from another app, a new instance is no longer launched if an existing one is already open Downloads: iOS: Trek2There on the App Store Android: Trek2There on Google Play Windows: Trek2There™ – HockeyApp

Hi Jennifer It looks like the user does not have permissions to access the underlying feature service. Make sure that both the form and service have been shared with the username that the scientist signs in using. You can either share the items with the organization or use groups. Thanks John

Hi Rachael, There is no change in regards to this. As Ismael mentioned - this approach has limitations in terms of access but is good if you want to capture unlimited photos. We do have an enhancement request open to enable users to capture multiple photos against a single survey question - but this is still in our backlog. Thanks John
