Hi Erica, Would you be able to provide your XLSForm for further trouble shooting? This 'time' data should not be missing when opening a repeat record from the inbox. Thanks, Brett

Hi Doug, Here is the link to the "Empty Values" section of the Doc. It explains what you can expect to see for different question types when they receive no input. Brett

Hi Jack, One thing to check is whether there is any difference in locale between your browser and Operating System?Different locales use different values for firstDayOfWeek. Brett

Hi Ben, You can use Power Automate to first create a feature report and then email it to yourself when a respsonse has been submitted. Take a look at this short tutorial video to get started - it uses Integromat and uploads the feature report to OneDrive, but the principle is the same in Power Automate. Instead of uploading to OneDrive you can configure your flow to send the email. Hope this helps, Brett

Hi Justin, The fix for this issue needed to be made at the AppFramework level which unfortunately wasn't released in time for the Survey123 3.11 release. It will definitely make it into the 3.12 update (which will be built using AppFramework 4.4). We're planning to make a 3.12 beta build available for testing via the Early Adopter website that will include this fix within the next week. Apologies for the delay, Brett

Hi Morgan, Once you have created a webmap containing your spatial data that you'd like to use in Survey123 (as a basemap), you just need to add it as a Linked Content item. This is done in Survey123 Connect, using the 'Linked Content' tab → Add map link. Once it has been linked, your custom webmap can be selected as a basemap using the basemap chooser, just make sure the webmap itself (and all the data displayed on it) has also been shared publicly : Brett

Hi James, Please check the 'choices' worksheet of your XLSForm. It is complaining that there is no list named 'list_asset_and_condition_asset_type', but your select_one question is trying to reference it. Brett

Hi Megan, Phil asked me to take a look at this. Just to clarify, your field staff are only having this issue with the 'freehand' tool for capturing a sketch geoshape geometry, but not the 'smart-shapes' tool - is this right? Also, is the error messge shown when drawing the area or when submitting the survey? I've set up a test survey by publishing your XLSForm to AGOL from Connect but I'm not able to reproduce this error. I've tried both capture tools with versions 3.10.326 or 3.11.164 (released last week) of the field app on Windows, iOS or Android. The log file suggests that the polygon being entered does not have enough vertices (ie it must have at least 3). I'm struggling to understand how this can even be entered, especially with the freehand sketch tool. Even when using the 'vertex' tool (by adding the method=vertex parameter in the body::esri:style column of XLSForm) the 'confirm geometry' button is greyed out until at least 3 vertices are captured: Is there any chance you could share a screen recording of this behaviour? You could email me directly using bstokes 'at' esri.com. Perhaps it may shed some light on what is causing this issue. Thanks, Brett

Hi Laurie, Thanks for taking time to respond. Apologies for not providing more information, the process for reporting an issue will vary depending on your country/region and also your account so we usually keep it general for GeoNet responses. Please go to support.esri.com and click on 'Contact Support'. If you're in the United States (for example) you will see the Report Bug link, otherwise you could call or email the contact details provided for your country/region. You could also select the Request a Case option but your user account will need to be connected to an Organisation with My Esri access. Alternatively, you could just contact your account manager directly via whatever method you choose and let them know. If you include details of the issue (as you have done in this post) they will be able to guide you through the process, or more likely, do it for you. Hope this helps, Brett

Hi Laurence, Thanks for identifying this issue, I can reproduce the problem and understand the frustration it would cause. I've already created an internal dev issue, but I strongly encourage you to submit this as a bug via support.esri.com. You will be assigned an official bug number which can be used to search for and subscribe to the bug on the Esri Support site. If the same problem is reported by other customers it will be attached to the same bug number, which helps us assess the impact and prioritize accordingly. Thanks again, Brett
