Hi Brian, That's right, you need to proceed to the survey form in order to change languages (via Collect, Sent, Inbox, Outbox or Draft folders). As you know a default language can be set for each survey. I don't believe there are any workarounds for setting a default language preference in the app, apart from changing the device locale of course. Please post your suggestion in the Ideas page. Thanks, Brett

Hi Paul, I can't reproduce this problem when publishing using 3.12 Connect to ArcGIS Online (exporting to SHP and File Geodatabase). Are you using ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise? Also, what format are you exporting to (i assume you're exporting via the Survey123 website)? Thanks, Brett

Hello! You're right, the image-map appearance is not designed to maintain any spatial references and cannot display a location. You could definitely implement your second option (with custom basemap to help users identify the appropriate station number) but I think a point in polygon Javascript function sounds like a better solution. This would require you to have a polygon feature layer that contains the Station Numbers and would autopopulate the form based on the user location. You could hide this completely, make it read only, or allow users to change the Station Number manually if they needed to. To get started, I recommend having a look at the 'JavaScript' sample in Survey123 Connect. It contains a group named "Working with a Feature Service" with an example. The example uses World Admin Divisions as the polygon layer (the URL for this can be changed to your Station Number polygon feature layer) and then shows a few different pulldata() functions for returning different components of the response. You will be able to easily adapt this to suit your feature layer. Hope this helps, Brett

Hi Tim, While basemaps in Survey123 are not 'interactive', they can be setup to display additional layers. Yes, it is possible to populate attributes directly from a feature layer using a JavaScript function. I would suggest taking a look at the 'JavaScript' sample available in Survey123 Connect. There is a group in this sample called 'Working with a Feature Service' that will help you get started. Also check out the 'Working with web services' section in the following Blog: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/extending-survey123-smart-forms-with-custom-js-functions/ba-p/898782 Best regards, Brett

Hi Alejandro, It sounds like you need to use the jr:choice-name() function to store the label of a selected item in your target feature layer instead of the name. Please take a look at the jr:choice-name section of the following blog for more details: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-xlsform-functions-for-lists/ba-p/893567 Hope this helps, Brett

Hi there, I'm not aware of any known issues from what you've described. Can you please give me an example of how the polygon changes (eg rotated, scaled etc) and screen shots if possible? Does this happen for all polygon geometry captured with the desktop app, even a simple rectangle for example? Is it occurring for all surveys or just one specific survey (please send XLSForm if it's just one survey). Thanks, Brett

Hi Majdi, What version of Connect are you using to publish your survey? By default, version locking is enabled for your surveys. This means that surveys are rendered using same version of the web app as was used to publish the survey in the first place. Eg a survey published in Connect 3.9 will be rendered using the 3.9 version of the web app. The file question type supports the 'multiline' appearance from 3.10 onwards. If you're using an older version of Connect (eg 3.9 or earlier) you will need to change the survey settings so that it always uses the latest version of the web app to render your survey. This setting is found in the 'Settings' tab: Hope this helps, Brett

Hi Austin, I'm unable to reproduce the issue you describe. I can store the results of a reverse geocode operation and then edit the address (for example) in the website Data tab and save successfully to the feature service. Just to clarify, you can view the reverse geocoding output in the Data tab successfully, but then it disappears when you attempt to edit it? Can you verify the data capture was successful in ArcGIS Online / Enterprise? Are you using the same account to submit & edit the record? Please feel free to attach your XLSForm if you'd like me to troubleshoot further. Regards, Brett

Hello John, I can reproduce the issue you describe where the map widget does not load using the 'Brave' browser. This browser is not supported by the survey123 website as per the system requirements page of the documentation. I'd encourage you to submit this to the Survey123 Ideas page so that the demand for this browser from other users can be monitored and prioritized properly. Thanks, Brett
