I've been able to successfully invoke Survey123 from Collector and Trek2There from Survey123, but can't find any documentation to invoke Collector from Survey123. Is this possible and if so what is the html link to do it? Thanks, Brent

I asked this a while back to no avail and question came up again so I thought I'd try give it another try. I'd like to make a question conditionally required, that is I would always like it to visible however if a previous question is answered a certain way I would like the question to be required. Does any one know if this is possible? Here is a link to my original question: Survey 123 Conditionally Required Question

Sunny, You may want to look at the pulldata() command for your auto populate based on other question scenario.

Thanks Carmel, It's good to know that I am not the only one to have had to deal with this. Thanks for sharing your approach. I will give it a shot. As for collaboration I think we'll probably just email it back and forth or use Dropbox. One quick question, how do you change ownership of a survey?

Curious, the way I understand it this should not be happening. If you don't set the bind::esri:fieldAlias field the feature layer defaults to the 'label' as the alias, if the bind::esri:fieldAlias is filled in there shouldn't be any reference to the 'label' in the feature layer. The other bind fields are not necessary for this to work.

Yes, in Survey 123 connect copy the values from your name column into the bind::esri:fieldAlias column (column w).

Has any one had the need or has come up with a solution for editing Survey 123 from multiple computers/locations using Connect. I have two scenarios where this would be handy: 1. I telecommute 1 day a week and would love to be able to edit my survey normally stored on my work PC without the need to make a copy and edit on my laptop. 2. I am collaborating on some form designs with a coworker that works remotely. Any insights on best practices here would be appreciated.

First thing, your output fields are actually all named differently, it sounds as if the output field aliases that are displayed are all the same. To fix this, if you are creating your form in Survey123 Connect there is a column called bind::esrifieldAlias (column W). I haven't tested this but if you put the field name in this column where you want the name rather than the label (alias) it should do just that.

Hi Scott, Yes, the idea would be to allow the user to select their own default values, rather than setting them in design/authoring of the form. These values typically differ for each user and also location. I think your understanding of the issue that it would be similar to favorites minus the step to paste the desired stored favorite is be right on. Not that it is a huge step to paste them but it would speed up the efficiency of data entry if the favorites just auto-populate. The screen shoot below is an example from one of my forms, In this form the species list for the SppID question is populated via a couple cascading selects from the previous two questions. For the taxa type question users would typically be working in a single environment (terrestrial/aquatic) and usually with a single taxa (plant/animal/insect) so the answer to this question would not change during a survey session (say 0.5 - 1 day sampling). Also, we have some users who know common names better than scientific names and some that prefer scientific names, so the answer for this question in most cases would always be the same for an individual user. Other instances where our users might want to a have their own default answers would: be a site name, or in some cases we collate names of others surveying with the primary user. For our workflow it would be great if the users could answer these once and forget rather than paste from favorites for each new survey. My thought was just add an option under favorites to make the pasting automatic.
