It doesn't seem to work on image with appearance set to "signature". Any chance you could add the ability to watermark a signature? I would love to have the be able to time stamp and add the printed name as a watermark on a signature.

I am building form where each time a surveyor visits a site they update the status in a repeat. I would like to calculate a "current status" field in the parent table with the "status" field from the most recent / current repeat. Is this possible? If so how would I go about doing it? Thanks

Thanks for your help, minus a few hiccups Workforce has been working great. I don't know how we would have managed 100 workers from different agencies without it. Now if you could allow dispatchers or group managers to add users, and give offline abilities it will be close to perfect for us.

Thanks for your quick reply, in this specific case we are are using Workforce to manage about 100 workers from multiple agencies (state, federal, local and NGOs). My current scenario we have several seasonal workers who have just finished up and are returning to college, in this case they all work for my agency and I can control when their AGOL accounts are deactivated. Permanent staff will continue completing assignments though Workforce so it is necessary to know what assignment have been completed (we are using the UNSG for assignment areas) therefore I don't want to just delete all of the departed worker's completed assignments. Setting to the worker to null/empty for the departing worker though not ideal should probably work for us, we could probably calculate the worker name into the notes field or create a GDB copy of the feature layer to maintain a record of who completed the assignment. When I originally posted this back in December the problem arose when one of the other agencies closed an account for one of their workers, I do continue to worry about the ramifications of workers from outside of our agency accounts getting deactivated.

That would be preferable, but if not possible we just want to be sure we don't crash workforce when accounts are removed. We do want to maintain the assignments as completed though.

Craig Gillgrass, I am having to revisit this issue, our field season has come to an end and we will be removing all of our seasonal staff's AGOL accounts in the near future. I am wondering what are the best practices for removing someone from Workforce while maintaining their completed assignments within Workforce? We are using the Online version (not Enterprise). ArcGIS 2.3 allows you to export a map series to individual PDFs. While in the map series layout select the Share Tab > Layout > Save as type = PDF > Export Options > Map Series Tab...then select the pages you want exported to PDF and select desired page format. You can also adjust the file name files will be named <file name>_ <page name>.pdf or <file name>_ <page number>.pdf Unfortunately it only works for PDFs at this time hopefully they will get to other formats at some point.

In my case (and I am guessing others) as a GIS analyst I am often creating content for other staff and am typically not the project lead for data collection endeavors. I have created a few Workforce projects for other staff who are the project managers and dispatchers for their work crews, and their main complaint with Workforce is that they can not add workers or assignment types themselves, they always have to come back to me. Unfortunately the way Workforce is currently set up the project owner is the only one that has the ability to add workers and assignment types. I am aware that the project ownership can be changed the the AGOL administrative level but this is still a bit of a headache if a project has multiple project managers who need to update workers. A way is needed to allow multiple users to add workers and assignments to a Workforce project that they don't own. I would suggest that this could be done by allowing dispatchers the ability to add this content, or possibly by changing the roll of users to group managers within the group that the Workforce project is shared.

If you just need the time the survey was started and ended you can use the question types "start" and "end". Start will record the time the form was first opened End will record the time the form was last submitted. Start will not update on subsequent edits through the inbox End will update each time you update the form. If you need to the record each instance the status changes in between "start" and "end" things get a little more complicated, it might be best to wrap that workflow in a repeat collecting all the info that won't change in the parent form and status updates in the related / repeat portion of the form, you should be able to pull the most current "status" value from with in a repeat by a simple calculation "selected(${status})" in to a note field in the parent form.

Is it possible to auto-create repeat records from data collected in parent forms? Basically what I am trying to do is streamline data collection by allowing the user to answer a select multiple question (containing 5 choices) and a couple other questions in the parent form and then create a separate repeat / related record for each selection from the select multiple question populated with the that selection and the answers to the other questions all of which will populate questions in all of the repeats.

We are having an issue where the assignments and workers lists are not loading the in Workforce dispatcher project, also the users list dosen't populate in the workforce configure menu. I think the issue is related to the same problem mentioned in this post: Can't See Users In WorkForce Configure Tab. I am guessing it has to do with a worker from another organization that was part of the project leaving the organization and unfortunately I can not get the account reactivated to remove them from the project. Craig Gillgrass mentioned that there is a way to remove the worker via the rest endpoint I was wondering if those instructions can be shared here. One question with removing workers, will their completed assignments continued to be shown as "completed"? This issue also has me a bit concerned as that this workforce project has workers from several federal, state and local agency's and as the owner of the project we are not always aware of turnover at these partner organizations, the project going down every time a worker looses their account is going to be a major headache. Are there plans to fix this in an upcoming release?

I have a GUID field in an AGOL feature layer that I can not get to appear in the attribute table in a web map or under the data tab for the feature layer, when I say I can't get it to appear I mean it is not available as a field when I go to "Add/Remove Columns". The field does however show when I open the feature layer in ArcGIS Pro and the field shows in the pop-up in the web map. I need to use the field in a join in AGOL but I am at a loss as to why I can see it. Any thoughts on how to remedy this would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like your issue is that the "Firm_Name" column in your lookup table has all the names with the first letter capitalized while the values for your "choices" tab "name" in column are all lowercase.
