Hi @GarrettPhillips Web Editor only support the ability to perform bulk attribute updates within a single layer. Expanding this to support bulk attribute update cross layer is on our roadmap, but it hasn't been assigned to a future release. Craig

Hi @GarrettPhillips we've implemented Copy/Paste such that, after Paste is done the pasted feature(s) are selected and the Move tool is active so you can move the features. We felt this was a simple and straightforward experience. Are you looking for a way to specify where the features should be placed before pasting them? Would this apply when pasting each geometry type: points, lines and polygons?

@PierreloupDucroix we've confirmed the issue and its been addressed in subsequent releases. Unfortunately, it cannot be back ported. So, when installing further patches, you will need to go through the steps in the article. I apologize it took so long to get this sorted.

Hi @JasonFitzsimmons We still need additional functionality for this to be useful for our clients, such as populating the fields from values in intersecting layers, that i don't think are available in Web Editor. This is possible using Arcade. You can read about how to do it in this bog: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/go-beyond-the-smart-editor-using-smart-forms We're also working with the Experience Builder and Maps SDK for Javascript teams to bring Copy/Paste and Merge to Experience Builder.

@JasonFitzsimmons With the current June 2025 release of Web Editor, your steps would be: Copy features into the same layer With those features selected, use Merge to merge into 1 feature We're working on improving Copy/Paste over the next few releases, in the October 2025 release we'll support Paste multiple to a new layer, so you can Copy and Paste multiple features into a new layer. We're exploring more options for Paste Special where, you could have the option to Paste with Merge to simplify the workflow you're asking about. Craig

@RPGIS Web Editor uses the same form that Field Maps uses, so if the capability you're looking for exists in Field Maps, the Web Editor will take advantage of it. It might be best to break this idea out into a new one focused on improved control over how forms are displayed to web clients, e.g. ability to modify the layout. As it is, that request is going to get lost in this idea.

Yes, this was added as part of the June release of Web Editor in ArcGIS Online. Unfortunately, it did not make the Enterprise 11.5 release. It will be available in the Enterprise 12.0 release.

@PierreloupDucroix we've addressed this issue in subsequent releases of ArcGIS Enterprise. The issue has not been backported to 11.3. We are discussing a potential patch for Enterprise 11.3 that could include this fix but no timeline on the patch has been set.

@JosephHilliard94 I did want to mention that you do have some options available to you with the current software: Ownership based access control. This is under the "What features can editors edit?" section of the feature layer settings. While it won't prevent users from deleting their own data, you do mention you'd like users to be able to delete mistakes, but it would prevent them deleting the data of others. Disabling delete on the layer (or on a View you create from the layer). You can then implement a workflow for users who need to delete data by providing them a way to indicate a feature needs to be deleted. One way I've seen this done is using a field that allows users to indicate a feature should be deleted. You, or other users with the applicable privileges, would then delete those features. Or, you could set up a job or a python script that does this. I know this will require work on your side, however, you might want to consider a solution like this. Even if we add this work to the roadmap, based on the other work we already have scoped out, I don't see it making the next few releases. Again, I apologize if my previous comments were interpreted as being dismissive, we do listen to these requests and, when we determine it's work to pick up, try to get them into a release as soon as possible. @PierreloupDucroix no, we are not able to reproduce this issue. If you've already tried the other steps recommended in the thread, I'd suggest contacting Support so they can troubleshoot this with you.
