How are you exporting it? look at this documentation:Multipatch To Collada—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop Also, you mentioned you had the multipatch as shapefiles? Try multipatches inside of a geodatabase, as that may be the more supported file format.

I am trying to use an Esri Web Style, "3D Residential", in my Portal for ArcGIS WebScene: https://esri-styles.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=4e7dd1bc3af44a9ea2cba435e2c2f7f2 After I download it, I get a file called "3D_Residential_en.stylx" In my Pro project, I right-click styles>new style>navigate to the file. I get this: " Upgrade Style? This style does not match the current version of ArcGIS Pro and will be read-only. Would you like to upgrade it? " I click yes, and the style gets upgraded, and allows me to access the 132 style classes within the style. When I try to Share As Web Style, I get this: " 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:29 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Successfully wrote sharing info file 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:29 Status: Pending StatusMessage: Sharing process started 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:30 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Sharing process started 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:30 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Successfully obtained a license from the licensing portal 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:30 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Publishing process started 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:30 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Creating web style locally 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:44 Status: Failed StatusMessage: Failed to share, the stylx file is empty or does not contain any valid symbols ErrorMessage: Failed to share, the stylx file is empty or does not contain any valid symbols 1 2 WebStyle ArcGIS Enterprise SandBox https://2nqv-gc-gi11101.neeaws.local/portal/ AXC013O@ESINT 2019-11-14 15:07:44 Status: Failed StatusMessage: Failed to publish web style ErrorMessage: Failed to publish web style " I'd rather use the Esri styles because they have texture and pattern already, as opposed to other 3D models I get that remove those details when I upload them to ArcGIS Pro, as guided by this blog: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/3d-gis/how-to-publish-web-styles-with-3d-symbols/ For example, here is how one of the 3D models I can get from online that appear as one solid color: Versus an Esri Style: I like the Esri Style better. The icons are wind turbines. The user wanted to rotate at their desire. "You want to rotate the icons based on an attribute right (similar to what you can do with 3d object already)?" This is very much something I could use, but didn't consider. Thank you Ms. Baresel, this is great, but the original idea would be even better to give users more interactivity with their 3D app. For now, I will create a 2D editor web mapping application so the user can modify the rotation field's value per feature of a feature layer. Then, I will consume and apply 3D symbology to that same feature layer in a 3D WebScene, setting the layer style to rotate from the rotation field.

Hi, In my webscene, I am using the default Esri elevation layer: WorldElevation3D/Terrain3D (ImageServer) Although the terrain does show variation in the land surface, trees and Buildings remain flat, as shown in the picture I'd like to have at least the trees/bushes be more realistic without having to manually create multiple 3D features (which would be very impractical for showing scenes word-wide) in a Globe Scene to represent realistic terrain. Also, I am using Portal for ArcGIS WebScenes, and I don't see a way to exaggerate the ground layer. Is there imagery, or world-wide 3D data available to accomplish what I want? Sorry for all the @Mentions below, but I figured I'd reach out to some the greatest 3D professionals in the world that I've heard of: Chris Andrews Ivonne Seler Philip Mielke Eric Krause Keith VanGraafeiland Khalid Duri Ken Field Nathan Shephard William Morrish Tamrat Belayneh Jie Chang Lindsay Weitz Stephen Heidelberg Gianluca Miele Javier Gutierrez Javier Martínez Gutierrez Michael Contreras Kristian Ekenes Jinwu Ma Gert Van Maren Phil Sanchez Janett Baresel Russell Roberts Elevation Data

For those of you worried that resetting the field order in the mxd might affect your web map popup field order: It won't affect it. This is because the webmap stores popup configurations as json. The JSON reads the fields available from the service rest endpoint as json using key:value pairs. As long as the web map can access the endpoints' key:values as an object, it doesn't matter what order the fields are in the endpoint. This is how I understand this concept. Anyways, the best practice I've adopted is to publish the mxd layers as the were directly from the database.......vanilla. Then, do special configurations solely in the web map.
