Hi Anthony Views are created by the website as a means of providing separate permissions to your data - i.e. we can have different permissions for the fieldworker and stakeholder views, and for the feature service itself. Connect does not create views when publishing - so we are not deleting the views, we are just not creating them in the first place. Yes - once you publish the survey from connect, you can access it in the website and generate a url link for sharing. The above will get you up and running. Cheers John

Hi Ryan A bug exists when submitting features (with attachments) to feature service views configured with the permissions you are using: What kind of editing is allowed? Only add What features can editors see? Editors can't see any features What access do anonymous editors have? Same as signed in editors This does not affect feature services. So you have a couple of options: 1) Publish your survey from connect and apply the permissions directly to the feature service (don't create a view). 2) Continue to use the view, but don't apply the Editors can't see any features permission to it. Both options should let your users submit to your survey/service. Please let me know how you get on. Thanks John

Hi James We are aiming for the 15th, which is likely - although we can't guarantee this. Could you let me know what platform you are using and whether you would want to test out the beta build that contains the fix? Thanks John

Hi Ryan There are a couple of issues here: 1) To ensure that Spike integration works as intended on iOS, some system permissions need to be set. Both Survey123 and Spike need to have access to the camera. Both Survey123 and Spike need to have both read and write access to photos. In photo settings, the iCloud photo library should be disabled. 2) You need to use the spike-full-measure appearance to do length measurements (not spike). Thanks John

Hi Juma - are you submitting using the web app or the field app? This indicates that a location is not being provided to the feature on submission and you are getting a default of 0,0 applied. Cheers John

Hi Oscar We have confirmed that this is a bug and we plan to fix it in 2.8 (mid May release). We will also look to get a beta build out for testing in advance and will share this via the Early adopter community when available. Thanks John

Hi Oscar Thanks for the .xls - I have not been able to replicate this issue with a recreated survey. In terms of the link you provided - can you confirm that the survey is still shared, as I can't download it (it says it is unavailable). Once shared I will test on a number of devices we have here. Also can you confirm whether this was the first time the survey was downloaded by the user or was this a repeat download? Thanks John

Hi Miles Have you considered using cascading selects? This way you could use the county as a choice filter on the species list, and the user would only be able to select a species that exists within the county they selected. This would work if you were not to use ranges, but instead break them up into counties. You would need to have a record in the choice list for each species in each individual county: list_name name label County species species Pseudelymus_saxicola Pseudelymus_saxicola Pseudelymus saxicola Pseudelymus saxicola Beaver Box Elder How many species and ranges are we talking about here - is this possible? There is a sample for cascading selects in Connect and the help is here: Cascading and external selects—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Thanks John
