Hi Shana If the user has editor permissions and is a member of the group that the survey/service is shared with, the user will be able to make edits. This is how the permission model works and there is no way around this unfortunately. Thanks John

Hi Debbie In this case we would advice organisations to deploy their own custom build of Survey123. The Survey123 field app is available as a template within AppStudio and can be customised to meet individual branding and functionality requirements. Many users have successfully adopted this approach. For more information on AppStudio please see: AppStudio for ArcGIS. Cheers John

Hi Nicole This does not sound like an unmanageable amount of data to download. 1) If you download from the Survey123 website and the ArcGIS Online directly - is the error the same? 2) Can you capture some Fiddler/Charles logs to see if we can get a bit more debugging info? Thanks John

This sounds like a bug. Could you share your survey .xls so I can take a look at what is happening? Thanks John

Hi Sue Unfortunately this functionality is not supported in Survey123. We are looking at adding support for images in the Analyze tab of the survey123 website. This would mean that you could visualise all collected photos in one place (album style) and then you could navigate to the associated feature. Would this meet you requirements if this worked for related tables? Thanks John

Hi Shana One option is to create an inbox query that only returns records if you are signed in as the editor. To do this: 1) Add a hidden question called editor_name (or something like that) to your survey with a default value of the editor's organisational username. This username will be written to all newly collected features. 2) Update the Inbox query where expression to be editor_name=${username}. 3) Publish the survey and get all users to download and update. This will result in a query that will return no records to the inbox unless you are logged into the device with the username that was populated in the editor_name field. See the following for more info on the inbox. Prepare for editing existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS I hope this helps Thanks John

Hi Renato We have a bug open that results in Connect not properly switching out of an IWA portal (although it looks like you are signed into the new portal - you are actually still signed in to the original IWA portal). Please can you select the new portal in your list, then close Connect and then re-open it and sign in. Then try to publish again. You will need to make sure the survey name is unique, as the 400 error usually occurs when the survey directory already exists in the portal (following a failed publish). If this is not the issue, could you share some console logs of this failed login: Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Also please confirm whether or not you are using external browser sign in. Thanks John

Hi Bill Please see: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2017/02/01/updating-field-types-in-existing-survey123-surveys - you can add a new field to the feature service in ArcGIS Online and then create a new version of your survey. Thanks John

Hi Jordon I assume you mean new records in existing tables (not new tables)? If so, yes this is possible - Survey123 supports the editing of records in related tables. Please see: Editing data: Prepare for editing existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Using your own data: Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Thanks John
