The designer is trying to make a request for the portal self information (https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/users-groups-and-items/portal-self.htm). If it does not get this back, it assumes that it is an IWA portal and allows the user to try to sign in anyway. Can you check that the portal self url is accessible by testing in a browser?

Hi Giedrius A value calculated for one feature can't be passed to another feature in QuickCapture. But I'm not sure you really need to do this anyway. If you capture a line for each trip using the start/stop button, and each line has a field updated using one of the length variables, you could summarise the length for all the captured lines in your feature layer. Even, better, if you added a field and captured a cost code or car license (for example), you could instead summarise the lengths for subsets of the lines in the layer. For example you could use a project user input to make the user to enter their car registration number when they opened the project. You would then summarise the lines using the registration field. Once your data is submitted form QuickCapture, you can summarise the length for a specific field in ArcGIS Online using Arcade expressions. These can be used to either write the summary value to a specific field, or dynamically update the value of a webmap popup. Here is some information on the sum function that you could use: https://developers.arcgis.com/arcade/function-reference/math_functions/#sum Thanks John

Hi Daniel - It sounds like you are signing into an IWA portal? If so, is the admin account a Windows account?

Hi Adam There are no QuickCapture modules for Power Automate, meaning that you can't configure QuickCapture webhooks in Power Automate automatically. However, if you create a webhook in Power Automate, you can copy the webhook URL and use it to manually configure the webhook for a project in the QuickCapture web designer (in project settings=>Webhooks). Once the project is configured and downloaded, the app will call the webhook URL each time a record is uploaded, passing through the submission payload. I hope this helps. Thanks John

@AndrewPadilla - If we shared a test build that asked for microphone permissions could you test it out?

Hi Andrew, I have looked into this and the microphone permission should not be required by the app. This is because it is the operating system that is accessing the microphone for voice commands, not QuickCapture. This needs further investigation. Thanks John

Hi Jon Sorry for the delay in responding, the GeoNet update meant that we were not getting alerts for posts. To answer your questions: 1) When a line is being captured and the app crashes, the next time you open the app you should be able to see the recovered line. This line will cover from the start, to just before the app went offline. 2) Unless the data has been successfully sent to the server, it will be still on the device and should be recoverable. The strange thing is that you can't see your projects. Can you confirm that you have signed into the app using the same online user account? We'll be happy to help troubleshoot the issue with you. Please drop us an email at [email protected] and we can arrange a call. Thanks John

We are aware of an issue affecting the QuickCapture mobile app on iOS devices. When the user taps on a project button and the label text is read out using an incorrect voice/language - usually Arabic. This is a result of a change in iOS 14.0 which means that not all text to speech voices are available on the device by default. As a result, the user must manually download the required file so that it can be used by QuickCapture. To do this first check the language the device is set to by going to iOS Settings=>General=>Language & Region=>iPhone Language. For example, it may be set to English (US). Then go to Settings=>Accessibility=>Voice Over=>Speech=>Voice and download one of the available voices for that iPhone language. Once the download completes, QuickCapture will be able to use the voice and the issue will be resolved.

Hi Andrew, I did a test on an iPhone 7 / iOS 14.0 using Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II headphones, connected over Bluetooth. This worked for me and I was able to speak to press buttons. However, the OEM iPhone headphones did not work. So this is not an OS or QuickCapture limitation, but potentially a limitation of the headset. I hope this helps Thanks John

Hi Mark Just to add to this, the 'Fix Time' field will only be in a point layer if the author chooses the option to enable GNSS fields when creating the service in ArcGIS Online. However, the captureTime variable can be mapped to any date field. So all you need to do is create a new date field and apply the captureTime variable to it. I'm assuming that the dateTime that you are seeing is the system managed one. This gets updated by the server (not QuickCapture) and this represents the time that the record was sent. A separate date field with a variable applied must be used if you want to capture the capture time. Also, 1.7 was the first version of QuickCapture to preserve EXIF metadata. So if the records were captured with an earlier version of the app, the photo capture time will be missing. Thanks John

Hi Mathew, The issue relates to the fact that the portal is configured to allow both https and http access. We will release a fix for this in 1.8 (due for release early December), but for now, if you disable http access for on your portal you should be able to sign in. See: Configure HTTPS—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise Please get back to us if you have any further questions. Thanks John
