You could create a 2nd feature class clipped to the county boundary and use that for your data driven pages. Might resolve the issue.

One way that you may wish to consider is to create your own custom overlay grid from a roads feature class that contains the gridded road network. Use the ROADNAME field for the Labelfield when you create it. Once created, go to Data Frame Properties, click the Grids tab, and Style... from the button list on the right. Select your newly created Custom Overlay grid - voila!

Michael - based upon some prelim research, one can share as a feature service with a Basic License but in order to use the Feature Sync capabilities, I think it requires a Standard or Advanced license to do so. This is similar to ArcMap's "download a local copy to edit" and sync. I could be wrong as I don't dive too deep into licensing. Any Esri staff care to add?

You can use a variety of units for your scale bars - Miles, Meters, Points, Inches, Feet and more. To change the units, select the scale bar to enable the context sensitive ribbon for the scale bar. Click the DESIGN tab and the Units group, click the drop down for Units and change it to whatever you like. The scale bar will update.

Seems reasonable to me. UTM horizontal units of measure are generally Meters and the Environment Settings for Z-values set to meters should be fine as well.

The Project GP tool examines the input coordinate system, in this case Stateplane, and creates a copy of the feature class reprojected into UTM. UTM's units of measure is meters and will be applied to the output feature class. You may have to apply a Geographic Transformation in the Project GP tool as well to correct for some error. Environment setting can be applied if you wish but I'd recommend trying the Project tool first.

If it's a vector feature class, use the Project geoprocessing tool to reproject it from Stateplane to UTM. Or add a new attribute field (i.e. CONTOUR_MT) and calculate the field (i.e. CONTOUR_FT * 0.3048) Hope this helps!

Another thing to try is make a copy of the Feature Class in the geodatabase and run the GP tool against the new FC copy. Could be a corrupt FC.

I'm working with ArcMap 10.4.1 and am able to bring in the data as an XY event layer. Question for you - what coordinate system are the numbers? State Plane? UTM? Any details would be greatly appreciated.

Presumably you're located in AK so the first transformation in the dropdown should be correct. Another thing that could shift the lines a bit if I you're using UTM and your data is close to a UTM Zone edge. Capture scale of the data could also explain it being off somewhat too. For example, the data was captured at 1:250,000 but you're zoomed into 1:24000. Do you see the same data shift in ArcMap?

And to add to the discussion, technically the DEFAULT version is a version - just the original parent to all versions. So Asrujit is correct, you have to refresh the DEFAULT version after your coworker ends their edit session to see their edits. I'd recommend reading the Versioning 101 whitepaper to understand Versioning - it's dated but still relevant.

Ethan - I share my point feature class as a feature layer in ArcGIS Online. From there, added it to a new web map. To add labels, click the ellipse for the web layer, select "Create Labels", format accordingly, and click ok. Now my labels appear for the feature layer.
