My first thoughts were either: 1. Attribute rule for when the geometry is updated 2. Arcade expression that triggers when geometry is updated How are you building the surveys? Is this in Survey123 or are you using a form in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer?

Hi, @JamesTedrick thank you for your response. I've tried that and had several issues with the queries. If I try and add the template on my services, it will tell me the related tables are undefined. I also will then get an error that the field I am trying to use a where clause on does not support operation. Perhaps you can tell me if my syntax is wrong? I am trying to only show programs with services that are in category '3'. I've built a table that shows the services listed under each program. My template is attached. I've been running this template on the services survey - should I be running it on one of the related tables instead? The category field is an integer with a domain associated with it, which I thought was causing me some issues with the where clause and I was planning to test it out on a new string field. Edit: Error I receive when I try to use the where clause.

I know there is a post on this already that was marked as solved, but that option is not working and that is listed in the post comments here I have set up a set of related tables and a feature service, and I am trying to access all of them in some fashion in a feature report. I have tried multiple formats, and I have limited success running the feature report on the parent table. However, I need to filter based on the child feature service, and that is where the feature reports do not access the related records. It's like it is only going in one direction.... Any help would be appreciated! Agencies (table, Parent 1:M) Programs (table, child to Agencies, parent to services, 1:M) Services (feature service with location geometry, child to programs) The idea is that an agency can have multiple programs, and each program has multiple services with different locations and attributes associated with each. I want to create a feature report that shows me the Programs with all of their associated services. However, I want to conditionally filter based on an attribute in the Services layer, called Categories. Essentially, I want to create a report for each service category. Below is what is on my template: ${#HSPrograms} ${#Services} Program: ${HSPrograms.PrName} Service: ${Service_Name} ${if Main_Phone}Contact: ${Main_Phone}${/} ${ServDescrp} ${/}${/}

Were you able to figure this out? I'm running into this exact issue. I've been able to find a partial workaround because I have the following scenario: I created individual survey forms for each of my two tables & feature service in Survey123 Connect. Agencies (parent) Programs (child to Agencies, 1:M) Services (child to Programs, 1:M) - this is the layer with location geometry, and the other two are tables I cannot access the parent data using a feature report template run on the Services, it gives me the same error. However, I was able to run a similar report on the Agencies, and access the programs and services. It didn't work exactly, because I was unable to filter conditionally using any of the child features, only the parent.

I would also suggest that if you have components or concerns not listed, to reach out to Support. I did and had them confirm the restart order.

I do something like that. Below is a simple code I use to read a list of features (unique identifier is used) from a CSV and then do something with them (in this case, it just creates a selection). import csv
import os
import arcpy
workspace = '[FILE PATH]'
selList = "selection.csv"
#opens up my csv
csvRead = open(os.path.join(workspace, selList), 'r')
with csvRead as r:
# creates a list
csvList = []
reader = csv.reader(r, delimiter = ',')'
#reads the rows in the CSV from column A
#for every row in Col A, it adds the value to a list selecting only certain characters
for row in reader:
UPI = row[0]
clippedUPI = UPI[0:23]
csvList.append(clippedUPI)
#this part does something with my list of values, in this case adding it to #an existing selection
for x in csvList:
selection = '"Name" = ' + "'" + x + "'"
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management(r"Parcel Fabric\Parcels", "ADD_TO_SELECTION", selection)
print("Selection Completed")
del selList, csvRead

If you want to write a script for this, start out with pseudo code. Write what you want it to do, logically, step-by-step. It will help when you go to fill in the code bits and will most likely be the beginning of your comments. One way I'd attempt this is probably by using a search cursor to iterate through every file in the folder, checking the # of rows in your attribute table. I would actually suggest storing the results of your search, and then sending all of the results in one email. That way, you don't potentially end up with 100 emails if you have 100 LYRX files that fit this criteria. So that would probably mean you create a list/dictionary that stores the name of each file that you test that returns as TRUE for your query. Then you can create an email, dump the list into an email, and send it off. IF your dictionary is empty, then no email. Roughly, I think your script could follow the below steps. #import modules
#set variables
#search through folder & store files that meet criteria
For every file in folder:
count number of rows
if row > 0:
add name to list
#Create an email and dump list/dictionary of file names into the message body
Is list empty?
No email
Does list have entries?
create email
identify receivers
drop list into body

What's your question? Are you trying to go for match lines or are you wanting to know how to make a data drive page/map series? I'm thinking map series - https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/map/page-layouts/creating-data-driven-pages.htm# Set up a grid, and it will generate a separate layout for each section of your grid.

I second this. 20 minutes easily, and the first thing ESRI will do is ask if you restarted your services in the appropriate order.

I have run into that before. The Configure Datastore utility did work for most items, but we did have one service that would not come back. It was a self-hosted service that we had built multiple Survey123 forms off of with related tables and attachments, and was part of a complicated Experience. After working with ESRI Support, I had to republish and spent a month getting the Survey forms and the experience to work again. I suggest JSON and Survey123 Connect backups of everything!

SQL has a DATEFROMPARTS() function that could potentially work, but I don't know what your data source is. I see you creating variables for the day and months for your different needs, and then calculating the years you need and building a date from that. Here is another stack exchange article with a potential tip

Also a County and at the enterprise agreement level, we'd have gone from $50,000+ a year to >$100,000 a year with our population, but no need for that many licenses. Most Counties in PA don't have more then 5 staff that would utilize the creator level. We have enough trouble convincing them to spend money, especially as OP said on IT stuff or imagery. Especially when you add in things like storage, hardware, and administration for non-tangible items that they have a hard time understanding why you need them in the first place in order to be able to serve your needs, that of your customers, customers and administer this stuff. GIS is not cheap! I would love more options that aren't geared towards a state budget level.

Have two parcel viewers (web app builder) apps in enterprise. Starting yesterday, reports of the search bar returning the incorrect pop-up. I've been able to recreate this, but when searching, the result shown does not match the popup shown. Clicking on a map will then show the correct popup. Search widget is pointing to our parcel feature layer. Any thoughts on why it might do this?

Update: Here is how I did it. Couldn't add the additional metadata fields I needed in the attachments table so I created ANOTHER related table just for attachment information, and enabled attachments on that table! Once I did that, it was showing up in Survey123 connect for me. Screenshot of XLSForm. Ended up doing this for 3 tables and attaching them all to views & buttons in an experience for our requestor.
