Does anyone know the 4x equivalent for this code? It looks like what I need to grab the pop-up contains and populate a new page for printing function printPopupContents(){ var feature = map.infoWindow.getSelectedFeature(); var popupContent = feature.getContent(); //write contents to new page for printing var newWindow = window.open("", "PopupContents"); console.log(popupContent); newWindow.document.write(popupContent);

Wow! @RyanLibed this is a great use. Looks very similar to the new instant app. How did you get the pop-up information? I am new to JavaScript and am trying leverage a div element for printing. I have been trying to take apart your code. I have been testing passing the pop-up information as a long string with html to the myprint function. This is a bit clunky as I have to calculate the pop-up values. I think your code has a much better way of consuming the pop-up information. and seems like it will work for whatever map id is loaded. function myprint(popupinformation) { divPopup = popupinformation var myWindow = window.open('', '', ''); var doc = myWindow.document; doc.open(); doc.write(divPopup); doc.close(); myWindow.print(); } Thank you, Ryan

Thank you @Jianxia, I have noticed the selection tool does a much better job on selected features and would like some way to configure it by default to help with user experience. My worry is if a user simply clicks on the map, they may miss the underlyingly features.

@KellyHutchins Yes, being able to use the tool to export as PDF would be wonderful. I do really like how the user can draw the box of what they would like in the PNG. The arcade behind pop-ups are extremely powerful, and printing as PDF is often requested. Do you know if the new Instant Apps will be included in portal 10.9.1? If not do you happen to know when Instant Apps may be coming to the enterprise portal environment? We use both AGO and the portal environments. If I can provide any assistance I will gladly help testing any new functionalities.

Thank you @KellyHutchins, I had not seen this functionality before and it's a huge step. It looks like it will work great on maps with shorter pop-ups. The drawing of the map extent to be captured is very cool. I would really like to be able to save the export as a PDF. The png below is an pop-up example with 17 records. The pop-up next to it has 700 records, I tried to use the screenshot tool nothing happens, I assume it's over a size limit. Also a PDF would make reading a longer pop-up easier as the text would not be pixelized, and any recorded permit numbers could be easily copy and pasted into another system

Totally agree, we are looking to consulate field verifications & inspections into a single app. A limit to Field Maps is that all edits need to be made on either an iPhone/iPad or an Android device. Surface Pro, laptops and Desktop computers are unable to load Field Maps at this time. This would be an additional cost to the departments to be adopted since current field laptops can not be used. It also means even upon returning to the office, field workers will need to finalized on a mobile device. The best work around I can think of would be to use WAB and a smart editor, so workers can use their laptops/ desktop machines. However that is twice the configuration and maintenance in both Field Maps and WAB .

A freeze/ split would be great. Some tables have far too many attributes and it is hard to keep track of the feature(s) to be updated.

I am getting a similar issue. I tried upgrading to 3.13.234 and publishing, and am still getting odd results with the table-list However, if I publish a totally new survey the table-list looks good @chiara_c try deleting your old survey, and totally republishing it

Really liking the look and feel of the new Edit (beta) widget. Fully understand it's in beta. Is there a way to switch the map to the selection tool when the editor is engaged? With the default mouse pointer I am getting mixed results when clicking on point features, it seems the selections tools does a much better job.

Hi Ismael, Thank you for the response, you are correct I mostly deal with public surveys. I will look more into dynamic lists, the Point intersects buffered points (with attribute filter) looks great If I can get everyone to use the field app. Some users like the ease of the web entry. My current work flow is to use a map to allow a user to locate an address and then pass the Council District to the Survey via the URL parameters. Once the survey launches I then need to ask for their address again. I don't believe there is a way to pass the address from the search to URL unless I go with a hosted JavaScript map.

The new address question and functionality looks great. As a possible enhancement is there a way to use the address or generated geopoint to intersect with a hosted feature polygon layer, or a nearest function to a point? I would love to able to take a simple address input and return an intersect that they are in Council District 3 and have selected question that only apply to their location. My current workflow is to show a basemap with the Council Districts and have the user select from a drop down question after entering their address. I would rather do this for them.

So I know this would be a lot of processing power. I would love in the future to be able to set a larger polygons symbology based on an arcade Feature Set expression of other layers. My use case is to have a neighborhood polygon change status colored dynamically based on all tree inspection points within the polygon. By using an arcade expression to loop at intersecting layers and return a color for the symbology. The idea is as the trees have been inspected they turn green, once the entire neighborhood has been inspected it would also turn green. To reduce processing it could be something set to update every 5-30 minutes

You might have some luck with experience builder. There is a url pass that can send a selected feature to a survey123. However it will works with one selected feature. Do you need the geometry or just the Street name? or street id? It's possible to pass both. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/experience-builder/real-time/using-experience-builder-and-survey123-to-pass-attributes-and-geometry-from-one-layer-to-another/ If you do need all 3 roads, please add on your use case to the survey123 idea https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-ideas/allow-multiple-selected-polygons-to-be-sent-to/idi-p/1090991
