Nope this does not consume credits. This generates a resource on the web map to help the AI component. Doing this in the web map makes the map ready vs. having to have the AI component generate the embeddings at launch time which could take some time depending on the number of layers, fields and other variables.  cc\ @KristianEkenes  ... This is planned to go out with the upcoming February release of ArcGIS Online. This will be supported across the apps that are going out with the the upcoming ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript release. This will cover Map Viewer, Instant Apps, Experience Builder and Dashboards for example and not require maps to be updated to a dynamic centroid property. Yup currently the multiple definition queries published from Pro do not have a a web map property that can show the current active def expression. We do have this available with display filters but currently do not expose the editing of these expressions and it only impacts the display and the features would still be available in the table.  ...
