Hello, I have a couple thoughts regarding managing topology rules for ArcGIS Pro. First, Allow users to enable or disable individual topology rules. We can enable and disable individual feature layers as desired, but not individual topology errors. Second, Allow users to add comments to topology rules. This may help serve as a reminder as to why the topology rule had been included in the first place. Example: "Rule requested for soils project" Third, Allow users the ability to reorder topology rules.

This would be great. I often don't need to save my queries, or I need to make small adjustments before they are ready to be saved.

Hello, When zooming within Model Builder it seems that I must have the mouse all the way to the left of the screen to zoom into a particular tool, otherwise model builder will zoom to the right. I am not sure if this a bug or expected behavior, but it would be nice if model builder would center zoomto where the mouse is pointed at on the screen. Thanks

ArcGIS Pro seems to hide the location of data from the user. This is frustrating as it is important to know exactly where data is coming from. In the example below I have the favorites will display a drive letter when it is connected to the root of a file share, which is great. However, when we connect to a folder only the name of the folder is displayed. I would prefer if the full path is displayed. I realize that we can hover over the folder and after a few seconds a popup will display the path, but that just seems inefficient. Figure 1. Without waiting for a popup, It is difficult to determine if the "GISData" folder is located on my local drive, a file server, or a web server.... I would prefer if the full path would be displayed such as C:\GISData, G:\GISData, \\myserver\GISData etc. Thanks!

Hey sorry for the late reply... @ Kory, yes that is exactly what I hoped for. @Richard, I noticed this does not work against shapefiles. Also in my own opinion I think that basic users should be able to use this as well as it is an excellent documentation tool. Thanks!

This and Joe's code worked. Please note that there is a difference between arcpy.Compact_management(workspace), and arcpy.CompressFileGeodatabaseData_management(workspace). The latter of which will zip up the files. Thank You!

Joe, I will check out your script to compress Geodatabases. To answer your question, the purpose of compressing the File Geodabases is to reduce the storage on older Geodatabases that are infrequently used, such as those in archive folders. In theory this should be a one-time script. All that being said, I hope I am not confusing compressing a database with compacting a database. Please let me know if you disagree.

Hello, I would like to know if there is geoprocessing script or another way to crawl through a directory and automatically compress any File Geodabases within the subfolder. This would save me the time of needing to manually search for all of the Geodatabases in directory. Thanks! P.S. I did come across this script, but it appears to apply towards SQL databases and not File Geodabases. https://community.esri.com/t5/data-management-documents/compress-geodatabase-tool/ta-p/908944

Hello, I would be useful if we could add NENA attributes to the dual range Geocoder which includes the following fields Street Name Pre Modifier. Street Name Pre Directional. Street Name Pre Type. Street Name Pre Type Separator. Street Name. Street Name Post Type. Street Name Post Directional. Street Name Post Modifier. Items in bold are currently missing from the dual range locator.

ArcGIS Pro has very many tools. They made it easier to find all these tools by only displaying context-sensitive tabs. However, it is very difficult to customize the ribbon because there are so many tools and tabs, which some seem redundant. For example, there are 3 georeference tabs under the "Main Tabs" heading. I would like to see the following enhancements in the Customize the Ribbon dialog Add an option to display only the visible and or active tabs. Allow drag and drop from the customize the ribbon dialog directly to the tab. These enhancements should make customizing the ribbon more intuitive.

By default it seems that the ArcGIS Pro will clip any editable layer. It would be nice if you could select to clip features only in the same layer. Thanks

Hello, I have a road line feature class and a city township unit polygon feature class. One of the requirements of the line feature class is that I need to correctly identify which polygon is on either side of the line. The closest solution I found thus far makes the assumption that the line is strait. However, it is very possible that the line could be curved as well. There are a couple ways that I could perform this, but I don't know how to implement these solutions. Perhaps there is already a geoprocessing tool, python script, or Aracade script that can already do this. This would be preferred. If I could create a point halfway down the line that is offset to the right or left by several feet then I could use that point to identify the line and rejoin the needed point value back into the correct field in the line feature. This should be very similar to the calculate adjacent fields, except it should identify values to the right or left of a line. Thanks for any help!

Sort shape currently only supports sorting a shape by ascending or descending order. It would be useful if sort shape could also sort by a layer files symbol order. I think sorting by a layer class (priority) may improve drawing performance as end users would not even need to use symbol layer drawing in their maps. Example: Include a layer that has the following classes and or symbol order - US Highway, State Highway, County Highway, Township Road. Use the sort shape geoprocessing tool, include a layer file described above as a parameter om the sort shape geoprocessing tool. Note that the order in the layer above is based on a priority, not an ascending or descending order. Provided the data is not edited, end users can consume the data and have it draw much quicker as there will be no need to enable symbol layer drawing. That is unless end users want to enable "Join and Merge". That being said, even with that sort shape should in theory allow "Join and Merge" to work quicker? Thank You!

Hello, In ArcGIS Pro we can set the visible scale range for a layer using manual values (Shown in red in the image) such as "1:205,004,254". However, each symbol class uses a slider instead (Shown in blue). After some help I was told that the only way I could add a custom scale for a symbol class is to add a custom scale in the map view (shown in black). These different ways of setting scale ranges seem inconsistent to me. Please consider allowing us to manually set a scale range for each class without needing to adjust the map scales. Thank You
