ArcGIS Pro: Clip features only in the same layer

By default it seems that the ArcGIS Pro will clip any editable layer.  It would be nice if you could select to clip features only in the same layer.

Thank you for submitting this idea Mark Volz‌.  If you uncheck 'Clip all editable features' are you able to set up the clip as needed?

If you want to keep 'Clip all editable features' checked on, you can manage which layers can be edited in the Contents pane List by Editing .  You can temporarily or permanently mark layers as not editable-- uncheck the layers you do not want features clipped.   

You could also turn off the layer visibility to prevent clipping of features in those layers as well.
