@JoshDryer2 It looks like you have a comparison table in your custom infographic template. That causes other panels to show a drop down selection as you explained. My recommendation is to replace your comparison table with another table style using the option below so you can view the variables for each ring one at a time. Then you can use the site drop down selection on the top to view the infographics for each ring. You also have the option to compare the rings side by side. And when you export it to PDF, it will contain 3 pages for all rings. Or you can export it as a side by side comparison PDF. I hope this helps. Fasil T. Business Analyst Team

Hello @ForrestBarker, My suggestions it to edit the description field after sharing the geographies to ArcGIS. 1. Enable this option when sharing. 2. Click this to open the shared map 3. Click the geography layer here to open it. 4. Click the Data tab 5. You might see the field is locked for editing 6. Click on the fields button > click on the description field > Allow editing and save 7. Double click on the description field value and you should be able edit it. I hope this helps, Fasil T.

Overview In a previous article, we covered the various data sources you can use to build custom infographics with your own data. One of those data sources is Map Layers. In this article, we will discuss a special feature available when building infographics with this type of data source, and export the infographics to dynamic HTML, or share it in ArcGIS Dashboard and StoryMaps. One of the main advantages of building your infographics from map/feature layer attributes is that you get the latest data whenever you run the infographics. This is very import if your data is frequently updated and you want those changes reflected in your custom infographics right away. You can also enable this functionality when exporting your infographics to dynamic HTML, or share it via Dashboard and StoryMaps. Let's use the following use case to demonstrate this functionality. Build infographics with map layer attributes Let's say our task is to build a custom infographics that shows the daily Covid-19 trends in US counties. The first step is find the right data source and use the Map Layer attributes from that feature/map layer. 1. Go to Maps tab > Add Data > Web Maps and Layers 2. Click on the Living Atlas tab > and search for "Daily COVID-19 Trends" 3. Click Open to add it to the map. 4. Click on one of the counties on the map and expand the attributes. We will build a sample infographics using some of these attributes. 5. Go to Reports > Build Report > Build Infographics 6. Click Add element > Infographic > click + Create infographic panel 7. You will see the Map Layers category. Click and open it. Please note that this option becomes available only when you have map layer on the map. 8. You will see two layers listed for the Daily COVID-19 Trends web map you added above. Expand the County Trends (Map Layers) and select the following 3 variables: Total Cases, Trend Rank, and Trend Type 9. You can further customize your infographic panel to look something like this. 10. Save the panel and add it to your template. Then save the template. Run and export infographics with map layer attributes We are now ready to run the sample custom infographics. 1. Switch to the Maps tab and click on any county on the map. The site menu will open. 2. Click the Infographics button and select the custom infographic from the list. Since the data source is updated daily, this infographics will show the latest values from today. Now, let's export this to a dynamic HTML. 3. Click Export infographic and select Dynamic HTML from the list. Notice the option to Enable dynamic feature query from HTML files is available because the infographic template contains attributes from a Map Layers data source. 4. When this option is enabled, the exported infographic HTML will automatically update with the latest data from the feature/map layer whenever you open or refresh it. Please note that the data source (feature/map layer) must be publicly accessible for this functionality. Sharing infographics with map layer attributes to ArcGIS Dashboard and ArcGIS StoryMaps Instead of exporting individual infographic to HTML one at a time, you might want to share it in a dashboard/storymaps by embedding the infographics for multiple sites or export the Dynamic HTML for multiple sites using Run Infographics workflow. 1.Go to Preferences > Reports > Infographics > Export infographics > check this option: 2. Click Save and Close 3. Let's say we want to share this infographic to a dashboard by including only the counties in Arizona. 4. Expand the project table of contents and click the Filter by attributes option for the County Trends layer. 5. Filter the layer using State Abbr. and selecting AZ from the list. Notice only the counties in Arizona are shown on the map now. Click Done. 6. Click the action option for the County Trends layer again and click Setup layer to prepare the layer for use in analysis and reports. 7. Select County Name as item name and click Setup Layer 8. You can leave the default Polygon layer option and click OK. 9. Now we're ready to create a dashboard. Go to Maps tab > Share Results > ArcGIS Dashboard 10. Select Many sites ---> Same infographic option. And then Side layout 11. Click Add Sites and select the From layers tab. Select all counties in Arizona and Apply 12. Click Next and select the custom infographic from the list. 13. Add a title to the dashboard and click Create. 14. Open the dashboard app when ready. The embedded infographics will dynamically update for each county when the data is updated daily from the data source. This is a great feature to have since your audience will see the latest daily data whenever they access the dashboard application. You can apply the same workflow when sharing the infographics in StoryMaps. Additional notes: You can use attributes from Map Layers in other infographic elements like charts, advanced texts, and tables. Simple calculations (sum and average) created from these attributes are also supported. Currently, only infographics with attributes from feature/map layers support this dynamic update feature. Custom data or other Esri standard variables do not dynamically update after being exported/shared. This functionality is also available when adding nearby panels in infographics using your own point feature layers. Please note that the feature/map layers must be publicly available for the data update query to work. Otherwise, users will be prompted to sign in to access the data source when opening the exported infographics. This functionality is not available in the Business Analyst Widgets for Web AppBuilder and Experience Builder.

Overview The June 2022 release of ArcGIS Business Analyst includes Esri 2022 Updated Demographics and Census 2020 data in the U.S. This is a once-in-a-decade situation, where we transition from the Census 2010-based geography to the Census 2020-based geography. As a Business Analyst Widget user in Web AppBuilder, these changes may affect your content. This article discusses the actions you need to take to migrate and update your custom infographics and reports to the Esri 2022 data vintage. Esri Infographics and Reports If you use only the default Esri infographics and reports, no additional action is required from you. These templates are automatically updated with the Esri 2022 vintage and you can continue to use them as usual. Custom Infographics and Reports It is very important that go through the following migration and update workflow if you have created any custom infographics or reports. If you use shared infographics or reports, the owner of those templates should do the same. This action is required even if your templates contain your own data and no Esri data. If the migration and update is not complete, you will not see your custom infographics and reports listed under My/Shared Infographics/Reports. If your app is previously configured with a default custom infographic or report, you might notice the missing template from the list. Steps to migrate and update your custom infographics and reports: 1. Depending on which app your organization uses to create custom infographics and reports, sign in to Business Analyst Web App or Community Analyst Web App 2. First you will see these welcome messages explaining what's new in this release. Please take a moment to read through these notes. 3. Then you will be prompted with this data update notification. Click Yes here. Clicking Yes creates copies of your reports and infographics in the new data source, Esri 2022, and updates the variables. Your original reports and infographics are still available in the Esri 2021 data source. 4. The Updating reports progress window is shown while the migration is underway. The process time will depend on the number of custom reports and infographics that you have. 5. After the migration, you will see all your custom reports and infographics that require label updating. Click Update this & remaining reports button to update all labels at once. 6. You will see the Updating reports progress window again while your templates are being updated with the Esri 2022 labels. 7. When the process is complete, you will see this final message. Your migrated/updated templates might contain variables that are no longer available in the Esri 2022 vintage. If that is the case, you will have to manually edit and update your templates. For more detailed instructions, check out this blog: Migrate custom Business Analyst content to 2022 Esri Demographics 8. If you go to the Build Reports or Build Infographics workflows, you will see your templates are now migrated and contain (Esri 2022) in the names. 9. You can now go back to your Web AppBuilder app and simply refresh it to see your updated infographics and reports. You can also edit your widget and set the default template at this point. 10. Going forward, just make sure to select the Esri 2022 data source before creating custom infographics and reports so that your templates are automatically available in the Business Analyst Widget for Web AppBuilder. Hello @TraciStein, If you don't have many business points on the map, the simplest way to add labels is using annotations. However, these annotations are temporary and will be removed if you reload the app/browser. We are currently working on a better solution for the future so you can save these annotations layers. The other option is using ArcGIS Online by sharing your business layer as a web map and then label the layer. 1. Click Share Results > ArcGIS Web Map 2. Add a title and check the Export map layers in a new hosted feature service check box. 3. Click Share 4. When the process completes, click on the link to the web map. 5. Click on Open in Map Viewer 6. Open the label option and click on + Add label class 7. Click Save the web map. 8. Your business are labelled and you can continue to use them in the ArcGIS Map viewer or add the web map back to Business Analyst web app to see the labelled features. You can do that by going to Add Data > Web Maps and Layers > My Content > sort by recent and add the web map you already labelled in ArcGIS Online. You get the labelled business points on your map now. I understand this workflow is a bit complicated so I encourage you to submit your idea to ArcGIS Business Analyst Ideas . Thank you, Fasil T.

Just to explain, the infographics in the dashboard app are embedded contents. You are getting the prompt to sign in because the layers you used in the nearby panels (infographics) are not shared publicly. For the second issue, can you please provide more details. Thanks, Fasil

Hi @JoaoPinto, I see that you are using side-by-side comparison option. That is why you see all 3 sites. You can toggle that off here: Please note that you have to define an area (ring, drive time, walk time, polygon, or geography) to run infographics. And if you are trying to hide the site areas from the infographics, you can either use the smallest values allowed for rings and drive times or use transparency on your sites. I hope this answers your question. Fasil

Hi @JoaoPinto, Are the attributes you described for 2019 and 2020 for each train station in the same feature? Looking at your infographic above, it looks like the site attributes are currently shown for 2019 only for each feature. If your goal is to get additional information about the same train station from a different layer that is overlapping, I suggest trying the nearby panel. This panel will allow you to show the desired attributes from another point features within your site. For example, I was able to show both the 2019 and 2020 information about the same train station as follows: A nearby table will also allow you to group your attributes as needed. Then when you run the infographics, you will see the option to filter by any attributes: And group by any attribute: I am not sure how you can accomplish filter by additional attributes otherwise as your data input is the site attributes from that specific train station. When you use site attributes in a table format, you can only show the attributes from that train station only. I hope this helps. If you need additional assistance, I recommend connecting with out tech support. Best Regards, Fasil T.

Hello @JoaoPinto', Let me start by answering your last question (#3). I encourage you read this blog first as I already covered why your infographics might return N/A values: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-business-analyst-blog/best-practices-when-sharing-and-running/b... Please note that using infographics is a two step process: Step 1: Build your infographics using your data source. Step 2: Run the infographics you created by selecting your desired sites. Decide which data source option (out of the first 4 options I mentioned in the blog) works best for you and make sure you follow the instructions. #1. You can create/build your infographics by adding your point layer using the first 4 options I mentioned in the blog. However, how you can run the infographics depends on which option you used. For example, if you used Map Layers option, you have to click on the point features on the map > create a buffer and then run the infographics. Although you are creating a buffer here on the point feature, the infographics will simply return the attributes from that point feature. Note: You run infographics on buffers, polygons, geographies, ring, drive times, and walk times areas. I assume this will answer your first question. #2. No, you can add as many variables as you need to your infographics from your point layer. Once the infographics is created, you can run it again and again on any desired location to get the attributes. For example, let's say your point layer covers multiple states and you want to summarize the number of point features in each state. You will build the infographics using the nearby table option and then run the same infographics by defining your states from the Define Areas > Select Geography workflow in the application. You mentioned that this is a country wide project so I assume you want to summarize the attributes from your point layer. So all you need to do is decide which data input type will work best for you and then build your infographics. Then run the infographics at country level or state level. I hope this help. Fasil T. Hello @BennettKottler, This is due the current limitation with one of our business data vendors (Data Axle) and this is documented in our help doc. In case you are not aware, there are two data sources available and SafeGraph allows you to export the business and facility search results with full addresses. You can also make this selection under Preferences. I hope this helps. Fasil T.
