Hello @AmyRoust, With the upcoming November release of Business Analyst App, you will have a new option to apply conditional styling to pie and donut charts that will enable you implement the enhancement you requested above. Here are the additional steps you need to follow to get the desired behavior: 1. Edit your chart and enable conditional styling. 2. Select Top and bottom from the Calculation method dropdown menu. 3. Select Nth greatest from the Bar value dropdown menu. 4. Click + Add condition and add more top N values as desired. Here is an example of top 3 values with a custom color ramp. 5. Customize the colors as needed and click Apply. 6. Expand the chart option and apply a default filter as follows: 7. Optionally, scroll down and enable sorting. 8. Apply and save your template. When you run the infographics, the chart will show the top 3 values with your customized color ramps as follows: I hope this helps! Fasil T.

Thanks for the details @NaomiBegg, Unfortunately, ArcGIS Community Analyst does not have this capability. You might be able to automate the process using ArcGIS desktop/Pro. I recommend posting your question in ArcGIS Pro community page. Once you create the desired areas using a ArcGIS Pro, you can import the layer to Community Analyst and then do further analysis, and run reports/infographics. Best regards, Fasil T.

Hello @NaomiBegg Sorry for the delayed response. Drive times areas are only supported for point feature layers in ArcGIS. If you provide us more details about your workflow, we might be able to suggest some possible workarounds. Thanks, Fasil T.

Hello @MeganMeserve Sorry for the delayed response but it looks like you found a bug. I was able to reproduce it as well when diving a variable from a Map Layers with a sum of standard Esri variables. I'll go ahead and submit a bug for this. However, my recommendation for your current workflow is to first create a custom data using your map layer as your data source ( documented here https://doc.arcgis.com/en/community-analyst/help/custom-data-setup.htm). Then, instead of adding the desired variable from Map Layers category, you can add it from My Data. I hope this helps, Fasil T.

Hello @AngelaGibson I'm sorry for the inconvenience and delay in our response on this issue. If you are still experiencing this issue, can you please provide some screen shots? From your description, it looks like the color-coded map is created but not visible on the map. Can you please double check on your style options as shown below. I've seen cases where the transparency was set to 100 which causes the layer to disappear from the map. If that is not the case, please give us more details about your workflow and we can help you troubleshoot. For example, which variable/s are you selecting to create the color-coded map? Best regards, Fasil T.

Thanks @MeganWheat This is exactly the error I suspected causing the issue in Community Analyst. In most cases, this happens when a Community Analyst project (a group in ArcGIS Online) is accidentally deleted. This is a bug we recently found and fixed for the November release. In the meantime, please use this workaround to reset your Community Analyst Preferences. 1. Log in to ArcGIS.com > click Content > My Content 2. Select All My Content folder from the left > type CA Preferences in the search bar 3. Select any files named CA Preferences and delete them. 4. Refresh your Community Analyst app/browser and you should be able to sign in. Best regards, Fasil T.

Hello @MeganWheat I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. We can help you troubleshoot the cause of this error. 1. Did you or your ArcGIS administrator made some changes of your contents in ArcGIS Online (deleted items or groups)? 2. Try to log in to community analyst using Google Chrome and click F12 on your keyboard to open the DevTools. Then send me a screen shot of the error shown under the Console tab. Something like this: Thanks, Fasil T.

Hi @MichaelGeorge1, To see the "Map Layers" option in the data browser, you will need to add the layer to the map as you can see below. In addition, the layer added must support feature query. For example above, notice I can click on one of the features and see the attributes list. Thanks, Fasil T.

Hello @MichaelGeorge1 , From your screen shot, it looks like you are creating a custom data from your layer first and then use those variables to build your report. As documented in the help doc for creating custom data, only numeric attributes are supported in this workflow. I recommend checking your layer and make sure the fields you want to use are all numeric. If you need to use a combination of string and numeric fields, please use the Map Layers option by simply adding your layer to the map and selecting the variables from the data browser from this category. The limitation with this approach is that you must run your report by selecting the features from the map where the attributes are coming from. Otherwise, you will get N/A values if you try to run the report on unrelated sites. I've documented some best practices in this blog that you might find helpful. The blog is written for infographics but section 2. Map Layers applies for building reports as well. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-business-analyst-blog/best-practices-when-sharing-and-running/ba-p/1062670 I hope this helps. Fasil T.
