I've honestly just made the transition away from Neatlines.  I still don't understand why with all the other layout elements available , that this one isn't but I have managed to make the maps look fine without them.  The map border is a great substitute.  Also make sure you use guidelines since the margins still also don't show up in layout view. ... I created the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online.  It automatically went with Web Mercator.  I don't remember seeing an option to choose a different projection/coordinate system.  I should have noticed this sooner but like I said I'm used to SDE and feature datasets that all of the same coordinate system so i didn't have to check.  It seems in order to create something in a different system would require the feature class to be created in Pro or ArcMap and loaded into ArcGIS Online.  Not a huge deal, just a learning experience.   ... I just did the same thing mentioned here.  We really need the ability to set the coordinate system in AGOL.  I come from an SDE environment where I didn't have to worry about it.  I noticed the issue when my square footage didn't make sense.  I realize it was being reported in square meters instead since it was Web Mercator.  I didn't get too far so I can probably just start over.   ... I'm confused, why do those two things have anything to do with each other?  They perform different functions.  One for the Pro project and one for saving edits.  I want both features.  Sometimes I make changes to the project without doing any edits for example.  And I have some projects that I don't really care if the project itself is saved (because I'm only editing), but I want to ensure that my edits are autosaved.   ... My project recovery setting is set at 5 minutes and my edit auto save is 20 minutes. I just did a quick edit and it was just over 2 minutes before it asked to save edits.  That's way too often.  I would prefer about 15 in most cases, I just kept raising the number trying to see if it would be longer.    ... This is exactly my issue.  I am moving to using ArcGIS Online for virtually everything.  I will still use Pro for editing on my end but have to create web apps for most users.  ArcGIS Server allowed me to do almost anything with symbology and now that I am using Hosted Feature Layers/Views it is extremely limited what I can do.  I can't even figure out a good way to symbolize railroads.  Really?, who symbolizes railroads with a simple line symbol?  You have to be able to tell the difference between railroads and regular roads.   ...
