I did some troubleshooting and discovered the issue. I even tried it in incognito mode. I discovered that somehow a reference to one of the layers in the web map was incorrect. Somehow between the Map Viewer Beta and the Experience Builder, the link (item id) was incorrect. I went back to the Map Viewer Beta, removed the offending layer and readded it. In the process I also discovered that the feature layer that I was using was not shared appropriately. This was a very odd thing but if there is anyway to have the Experience Builder display a warning if it can't publish, that would be awesome. I have a feeling that between using the Beta viewer and using an early release of Experience Builder that some strange bug just popped up. I doubt it will ever be reproducible and hopefully it never happens again. Thanks Shengdi for trying to help me out. Hopefully if this happens to somebody else they will see my thread.

Jianxia, I found these settings but by address was already checked. It doesn't seem to matter how I type in an address, it doesn't find any results. I decided to add my address points layer as a layer to search by and that did work. Also, do you have a road map that you could share just so we could see where things stack up?

Correct, preview is fine but the publish button appears to do nothing. I am playing around with Experience Builder, trying to see what all it can do. I created a map centric page and published and it looks great. I tried to add another page and added the appropriate menus but when I try to publish, nothing happens. I'm guessing I have an error somewhere but it is not showing me the error. I can preview it just fine and everything works. I hope I didn't lose the original design.

This would be very useful and I hope it is coming soon. Everything I type into the current search tool (within the map widget) gives me no results and we have no ability to configure these basic tools yet.

I find this disappointing. I was testing out experience builder as the web app builder is being phased out eventually but I find the not only the lack of this simple widget frustrating, the overall inability to edit how the widgets work is also frustrating. For instance the scale bar is only viewable in meters which is not helpful at all when you do everything in feet.

Sorry to hear that. I have now switched totally over to Pro. Funny how much things change over the years. I don't think I'll have this issue anymore because I no longer use SDE but ArcGIS Online hosted feature layers instead.

The related table concept is a good one. I hadn't really got that far into the project yet.

I looked at this one, but the problem is you have to export to another feature class. It may be my only choice though. Actually, I tried this and the only option is to make all of the areas equal. I need them to be different sizes.

Seriously, no response at all? Doesn't anyone have an idea of how I can divide a polygon besides this tool that does not work? I need the ability to divide a polygon into unequal parts based on a proportion that I've already calculated? It appears this tool would work just fine if I wanted the parts to all be equal. Let me give some background. I am planning a storm water fee study where the more impervious area a property has, the higher the fee will be. I am trying to determine the share of impervious area that should be attributed to each address in multi-tenant buildings like a shopping center. It doesn't seem fair to assign a 2000 sq feet space the same amount of impervious area as a 62,000 sq feet space in the same shopping center. Has anyone else done a similar project?

I was using the Divide tool on an irregularly shaped polygon. I would use equal area and one at a time would divide the feature. Then I would divide the remainder again. After about 4 times, the tool doesn't seem to want to divide anymore even though there is still plenty to split off. I get an error that says Divide Features failed, but with no explanation at all. I couldn't care less what the direction is, I just want to divide the polygon. On a related note, I often have the same issue when using the Split tool. What i really need is a way to divide a polygon into multiple parts and be able to list what the size should be for each. Is there such a tool?

I have it set to check for updates. Updating Pro is so much easier than updating ArcGIS Desktop.

I've honestly just made the transition away from Neatlines. I still don't understand why with all the other layout elements available , that this one isn't but I have managed to make the maps look fine without them. The map border is a great substitute. Also make sure you use guidelines since the margins still also don't show up in layout view.

I created the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online. It automatically went with Web Mercator. I don't remember seeing an option to choose a different projection/coordinate system. I should have noticed this sooner but like I said I'm used to SDE and feature datasets that all of the same coordinate system so i didn't have to check. It seems in order to create something in a different system would require the feature class to be created in Pro or ArcMap and loaded into ArcGIS Online. Not a huge deal, just a learning experience.
