@ChelseaRozek I went to vote on that idea too. It is definitely needed also. In fact, if they did what was suggested there, we wouldn't have to worry about this idea.

I specifically converted some annotation to points because ArcGIS Online made displaying (or rather updating) annotation quite difficult. Use labeled points in Pro worked so great that I wanted to use those in AGOL only to realize I can't rotate the labels.

Are you saying you data was all changed to local too? My project saves to local but it still takes several minutes to load some projects. My data though is mostly ArcGIS Online Hosted feature services. Editing is always slow to those hosted feature services too but that's another topic.

Yes I don't receive the notices anymore either but that stopped after I logged out and back in as Robert suggested. The rogue locators still come up but they don't seem to be causing any issues.

Well, I tried but I don't really know how to run that. I don't have much experience running scripts. I pasted it into a python window and I have no idea if it did anything. I'm sure I'm missing something.

They weren't in there, only default ones so I guess I'm good to go there. The locators keep reappearing every time but they aren't causing the loading issues anymore. I'm going to go ahead and mark this as a solution but I may reopen if I run into any issues again. Thanks Robert!

Logging out and signing back in seems to eliminate the error messages for now but the locators in question keep coming back. Currently they have the red exclamation mark next to them. I no longer use my own and just stick to the World Geocoding Service as it serves my needs. How do I find the locators in Windows Explorer? I search for loc and lox files and the locators in question don't appear to come up in the searches. Maybe I'm searching in the correct directory though.

I've searched this community time and time again and have never found a good solution. How do I get rid of the warnings when I open a pro project and it says locator not supported. It is a strange error and it continually loads bad locators even when I remove them and save. How do I stop this. Its clearly a hard coded bug because the aprx is apparently corrupt but how do I fix it?

Well, that was about 4 1/2 years ago and I have totally changed my process to AGOL and Hosted Feature Services. If I remember correctly you have to log in as an admin to the ArcGIS Server Administrator. Server Manager wont let you see these two services. I'd encourage you to contact Support if you are currently struggling with ArcGIS for Server or whatever they are calling it these days.

I just want to delete these problem locators as I just use the World Geocoding Service for everything. And Yet every time I remove the locators, they just come back along with the annoying errors. Is my only solution to do what @AnonymousUser23 suggested? This has been going on for a couple of years through several Pro updates and it still isn't fixed.

Anyone else having issues with the Search widget not working. I had a broken source and needed to reconfigure but the search widget wont load properly. Tried clearing cache but no luck. Any other ideas?

I looked into this a little bit. I discovered I actually had some files related to SDE. I removed those as they aren't kept updated anymore and switched to hosted feature layers. I have some local files and some from a local geodatabase. I still have the same behavior. I tried switching the Explore tool to the top most layer and have no issue but of course I only get that top layer identified. I'm wondering if the Explore tool/pop-up results have a limit on how many features it can show popups on at once. Selected in Contents also seems to work just fine. I really like the visible layers option as that way I don't have to worry about changing everything every time I want to get a popup for a different layer though.

I am using the most recent version of ArcGIS Pro. I primarily am using hosted feature layers but I also have a few local files and services. When I use the explore tool to identify pop-ups I get mixed results. When I click on something I get the identifying box that acts like its working and something even flashes that was identified but the pop-up panel stays blank. Sometimes it will display properly but always. I have the tool set to visible layers so I would expect in most situations to have at least 3 or layers that should give me popup information but it usually doesn't. I am happy to provide additional information but I wasn't sure what all would be needed to help figure this out. I would prefer not to have a support case for this but maybe it is a bug.

I use a lot of layouts with multiple map frames too. One thing I found that was pretty cool was that you can have irregularly shaped map frames. In one instance I created the main map frame with a a rectangle chunk taken out of the frame and the other frame put in that place. Still doesn't work like neatline but is a cool feature. Its been so long since I was able to use the neatline though that if I had the feature back, I probably wouldn't use it now. My original post was from 5 years ago.

No I never did. I just use the out of the box option which is disappointing but it is what it is.
