Hello ArcGIS Enterprise team, In reading the documentation on how to Set up an ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online collaboration I am unclear on the following: Content can be shared as references or as copies depending on the item type... The following items can be shared as references: Feature layers ArcGIS Server service items Here's my questions: 1. Can a feature service, published from a non-federated ArcGIS Server and referenced inside of a Portal participate in a collaboration? 2. Can View Layer (Created from the above feature service) participate in a collaboration? Thanks

Hello Jason Camerano, Amir Bar-Maorand the ArcGIS Pro Tasks team. As I wrote about in this post I have a tasks that looks to append data from a featureclass to a featureservice. As part of this I configure the field mapping for a field as shown below: If I manually step through this step I get the desired results. However, if I set the step to be automatic (as there's no need to interact with it) the above fails to occur. Please can I seek clarification on if this is expected behaviour? Thanks

Hi Derek We have three (point) layers. Within the three there are some shared field names and some unique field names. I'd like statistics such as: total count across all three datasets sum of filtered values (from those shared field names across all three) ave of filtered values (from those shared field names across all three) The most obvious widget candidates are: Indicators Gauges I'm basically asking for is the ability to add more than a single datasource - though I know that'll be tough to implement.

Can I pile onto this and ask the following about Workforce for ArcGIS and #agol to portal collaboration: We have an internal instance of Portal, and and AGO. They will be joined using Portal-to-portal Collaboration soon. My workforce dispatcher is in Portal. My #workforce_mobile_worker are in the AGO. I plan to make a Workforce Project in AGO and, according to the above, I should be able to invite my Portal dispatchers into it - can someone confirm? Also, using Portal-to-portal Collaboration, can I sync #workforce assignments between Portal and AGO? (Assignments get created in Portal > sync'd to AGO > mobile workers 'to do' list updates and they complete assignment > status gets sync'd back into Portal so dispatcher knows it's completed) Thanks #craig gillgrass

Hello Survey123 for ArcGIS team, I am facing this same issue with the string or binary data would be truncated. The statements has been truncated. I've spent several hours triple checking each field length and the possible answers that can go into them, either from a select_one or a calculation in survey 123 - they all have plenty of spare space. What my troubleshooting has unearthed is that I CAN successfully submit through survey123 windows 10, but can NOT through survey123 android or survey123 ios Therefore can James Tedrick or another member of the Survey123 for ArcGIS team please tell me if there are differences between the way the three versions calculate values or append metadata that I am unaware of? Thanks A PS: Also posted here

Hello Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS team, Is there a way to add more than one data source to each widget? I'm looking for counts of features across multiple datasets. Thanks

Hi Shannon Chavez The issue was that the plugin wasn't working correctly and showing me the "next" button. I was totally stuck until I removed it and reinstalled it. As feedback I'd recommend offering up other layout options, including a resizeable map if possible. Thanks

Hi Jay Johnson Here's how Patrick Brennan helped me set mine up: One thing that I need answers on from the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS is why I see differences between two widgets, using the same dataset. Both my indicator widget and my serial chart use my {Match percent} field which I set to 'average' for both. However, as you can see I get different average percentages in the same month. For example for February the #indicator widget shows 92.6% whereas my #serial chart shows 94.7%. Anyone able to help me out understanding why? Derek Law

THis just saved my @$$... thank you Seth Paine! As an FYI - tried setting this up as a script in Pro, but it didn't seem to want to run it. I simply manually entered the parameters in PyScripter and ran it there. inDB = 'C:/Users/YOU/.../ArcGIS/My Surveys/Databases/a084e6XXXXXXXXe8ec667ca329a63.sqlite' gdb = 'C:/Users/YOU/AppData/Local/Temp/ArcGISPro4804/afdf1967-XXXXXXXX6139267/Default.gdb' One downside is that dates get cast back to strings, meaning a lot of manual conversion. James Tedrick I had to do this as the original completed survey was giving me the #string truncated error. I've since modified my survey to ensure all field lengths are sufficiently long. My plan was to restore the DB and simply republish the troublesome surveys sitting in my OutBox. However it's still giving me the #string truncated error. Bizarrely, I manually recreated the results (minus the photos and location info) and it submitted fine. Can I ask for your advice on how/if I will ever be able to get the surveys sat in my outbox published without having to manually recreate them and thus lose the photos and location info?

Hello Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS team I saw Sandra Luken present at the Dev Summit where she showed a storymap passing URL parameters into the same dashboard, presenting different results for each slide. I’m trying to replicate something similar but think it might be beyond the capability of URL parameters. I have a pie chart with the data from grouped values. However, I want my two slides in my storymap to focus on two different category fields within my data. However a category selector only lets me filter data within each (already set) category, not define it – right? If correct then is there any way to open a dashboard with a particular stack of widgets to the front?

HiCraig Gillgrass Workforce on Windows would be a great intermediary step for our 40-50 crews. We're currently tied to windows due to other parts of our workflow being dependant upon it. However, we're looking to move to new solutions that would free us up to utilize iPads in the field meaning Workforce for iOS with Offline would be the best long-term tool for us.
