Carmel Connolly / Ismael Chivite / James Tedrick instead of creating an "_other" field for every question is there a way to push these all into a single "notes" field? Or alternatively is there a way to have a single "notes" field appear under each question if the value chosen is "other"? Or is it possible to have a note populated with those questions answered "other" used a instruction for what must be entered into a single "notes" field? Thanks

James Tedrick I too am struggling with "if" statements. Here's my use case: Select_one {Asset} (this has choices of 'Residential Meter', 'Backflow Preventer' etc) If {Asset} is set to 'Residential Meter' I wish to populate a second select_one question named {Enclosure} with the answer 'meter box' Furthermore, if {Asset} is 'Backflow Preventer' I wish to set {enclosure} to 'vault' Thanks A

Jeff Shaner @Doug Morgenthaler can you clarify what units I will get my results in from Trimble Catalyst? If i add the required GNSS metadata fields they include horizontal/vertical accuracy in meters (m). However, I have collectors units of measurements set to imperial (ft). Therefore which values are recorded and displayed? Thanks

The answer is down to GPS Averaging being selected within Collector or not. The following GPS metadata values are recorded by Collector when using a configured feature service: Receiver name Latitude—Location before applying the specified location profile, including data transformations Longitude—Location before applying the specified location profile, including data transformations Altitude—Location before applying the specified location profile, including data transformations Fix time If using a single GPS location to set a point's location, the following metadata values are recorded (but the below are not): Horizontal accuracy Vertical accuracy PDOP HDOP VDOP Fix type Correction age Station ID Number of satellites If performing GPS averaging to set a point's location, the following metadata values are recorded (but the above are not): Average horizontal accuracy Average vertical accuracy Number of positions averaged Standard deviation An indication of the variation in distance between your final, averaged location and each individual location recorded during averaging. A high value indicates your position was influenced by outliers.

Hello I am experimenting with Trimble Catalyst and a Samsung S3 tablet with LTE. Sadly, I am not getting the full GNSS metadata for points collected using this service. My set up is below: Map is here FS is here - Spatial Reference: 4326. I created the GNSS metadata fields using the Python tbx here Maryland KeyNet VRS accessed through Trimble mobile Manager – this uses NAD83 2011 Configured a location profile within Collector as shown in attached. Things to note about this: firstly I set the ‘map coordinate system’ value to GCS WGS 1984 – which is the same as my FS however, collector tells me “the map uses a different coordinate system than the location profile” so I have to change it to WGS 1984 Web Mercator Aux Sphere My results are below. I'm not getting anything for the blank metadata fields. Any help on the correct configuration would be appreciated. Thanks Receiver Name Catalyst Horizontal Accuracy (m) Vertical Accuracy (m) Latitude 40.05 Longitude -75.48 Standard Deviation (m) 0.02 PDOP HDOP VDOP Fix Type Correction Age Station ID Number of Satellites Fix Time 2/22/2018, 6:09 PM Average Horizontal Accuracy (m) 0.55 Average Vertical Accuracy (m) 0.67 Averaged Positions 5 Altitude 132.69

Hi Derek, Everything is shared publicly so unsure why you couldn't get at it but in order to try again here's the AGO hosted Feature Service URL: https://services1.arcgis.com/pHowtmQeJXPeoWID/ArcGIS/rest/services/Norco_Valve_Activity/FeatureServer/0 Additionally, here's the Info Summary App that it's in (remember this one works fine): ArcGIS Web Application As for the AGS feature service that fails to load that's here: Layer: Valve_Activities (ID: 3) I noticed the same issue in ArcGIS Pro - that using this service no attributes would show in the popup and so opened a tech support ticket: https://my.esri.com/#/support/cases/02042626 Thanks

Hello Derek Law I have two identical WebApp Builder apps, both using the Info Summary widget configured in exactly the same way. The only difference being that one uses data from AGO, while the other uses data from AGS registered into AGO. This latter one performs significantly more slowly when presenting the summary counts and fails entirely to give me the list of features under each layer of the info summary widget. Please see for yourself below: App using AGO data App using AGS data Any advice on how to rectify this issue would be gratefully received. Thanks A

Thanks again for replying Aaron - but here's the problem: In your example above your Action is to filter the Sample Date field which is an attribute of the point layer. All my inspection data is held in the related table with the only attributes behind my point layer being FID. Thus I need to filter a date in the related table then filter the locations so only those with a related inspection during 2017 are shown. I'd question why I would maintain the last inspection date in the point layer? That's something that should be maintained in the related inspection. Plus if I followed your model above I'd have to change the 'Last Inspected' date after every inspection and then can't filter on older inspections. I need to be able to date filter but field match on FID in my related table to FID in my point layer.

Aaron, You're correct - switching to 'Features' or 'Grouped Values' allows me to field map successfully. Now I can chose an entry from my Selector and the map & list will update accordingly. One more questions though: Instead of the Selector being a list of all individual records that match my filter (eg: DATE is after 1/1/2017) is there a way to have it select ALL records that meet the criteria? This way it could fire the Action and select only those Valves with Inspections in 2017. I tried switching from 'Selector' to 'Date Selector' but am back to being unable to map the FID-to-FID fields I used previously to filter the map, I can only map other fields where the datatype is "date". I guess I'm looking to recreate the old "Query" functionality and filter records by date. Thanks A
