Hi Krishna, With #1: - yes, absolutely. Consider this example where the visibility of the new photo form element is controlled based upon form logic and I am requiring that the mobile user capture 1 and only 1 photo by setting the min/max number of photos. With #2: - Our support for constrained networks is agnostic of provider. We are following the approach provided from Apple/Google that is inside of their respective iOS and Android developer documentation. The landscape is rapidly evolving as well. In the US, the primary provider at this point in time is T-Mobile with T-Satellite and Starlink support. AT&T are beta testing now. Also consider that it leverages a modern chipset in iOS/Android devices so not all phones are compatible (iPhone 14+, Google Pixel 9 series and higher, Samsung S25 and up). So good to confirm on both provider and device when you are ready to engage.

Inside the Field Maps Early Adopter Program you'll find access to beta versions of the mobile apps for iOS and Android, access to the EA version of Field Maps Designer, documentation, tutorials, and activities that center around what's coming in June, and a place where you can provide us direct feedback as well. Here's what's coming in the June release: Attachment form elements - the photos, videos, and documents you capture are now part of the form so you can direct how and what media needs to be captured when it's needed. You have the full power of form logic and arcade at your fingertips here! Multiple choice form element - now you can select all those inspection violations, site conditions, and pizza toppings in a single, comma-delimited string field. Improved search experience - we've enhanced how search performs queries and processes results - a long-standing ask. We've also added the how you configure search inside of Field Maps Designer so you don't have to go out to the setting buried in the item details anymore. Enhanced GNSS support - we added more GNSS metadata fields including orthometric heights, coordinate systems, and more. If you're using Trimble receivers, we now support tilt-compensation as well. Tasks - task filters define how mobile users work through their todo list in the field. Now you can sort those filters based on custom fields and specify what the default sort order should be. Branch versioning - when working with the online map, now you can switch between a subset of versions using the Layers tool. Location sharing - we're adding support for sharing your last known location and location tracks over a constrained, satellite network so command always knows where you are. Note that we're bumping to the 300.x version of the ArcGIS Maps SDK with this release as well. Lot's inside this update and we encourage you get ahead of release by testing with the beta versions. Here's the opt-in link to join if you're not part of the program today: https://earlyadopter.esri.com/key/ArcGISFieldMaps Thank you for your participation, Field Maps Team!

This is a known limitation of the ArcGIS Maps SDK that supports the geospatial PDF capability in Field Maps. It is under consideration for a future release of the SDK but no release has been set. Once picked up, Field Maps support can be added.

@AlfredBaldenweck appreciate your feedback and opinions. Thank you for responding. In case you were unaware, you can disable use of personal markup in web maps from the app settings in Field Maps Designer. Given your needs and concerns, it might be best.

@LindsayRaabe_FPCWA this makes sense, thank you. It's unfortunate that agencies within Australia have not centered on one platform, like is present here in the US. The additional management of separate files on an incident is error prone, likely requires a GIS analyst to important, merge, and QA/QC content, and makes real-time response challenging. It would be useful to know what type of data your would capture in markup that would be shared? Also, if you're not aware, this article shows how to publish a .markup file.

@AlfredBaldenweck want to dig in on your markup comments and the related idea. Can you explain why you think markups are generally useless for you? Is it because you want the markup as a feature? If yes, what are you wanting to do with the generic sketch that is captured?

@LindsayRaabe_FPCWA you can use a PDF as a basemap in your web map and that web map can include a feature layer that supports editing. We are planning to improve the map capture experience for data capture in Field Maps, including free-hand sketch, so wondering if this would be the desired experience or if there is more here that we need to understand.

@SWATConsultingInc can you give us a bit more detail on your specific use case for this and if you've looked at using a feature layer and the collect experience to satisfy this need?

Hi @Davis_Dad23 , If you are referring to branch versioning, yes you can. Inside of the Versioning section of App Settings within Field Maps Designer, you can choose a specific branch version to switch to for each feature service in your map. This post from @TravisSaladino highlights the experience added with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5. We are planning to support defining a list of versions per feature service that the mobile worker will be able to switch between. With Field Maps Designer, this will be included in the 12.1 release of ArcGIS Enterprise and a future update of the mobile apps later this year will provide the ability to switch between that subset of versions.

Sorry for the delayed response @PeterKnoop, yes. You can manually add the typeKeyword "FieldMapsDisabled" to PDF items previously uploaded. Use of the keywords at the 26.1 release: The setting This is a geospatial PDF that writes keyword "Geospatial PDF" when enabled is only used by Field Maps Designer. The setting Use in ArcGIS Field Maps that writes keyword "FieldMapsDisabled" when set to disabled is used to filter PDFs in the Field Maps mobile app, can be used and set in Field Maps Designer. With the 26.2 release coming in June, we will add a check fo rthe "Geospatial PDF" keyword as well.
