I'm finding a similar problem with my project. I have a number of layers in a map with labels applied to numerous layers (i.e. road names, lot numbers, etc). I have World Hillshade half way down the list in my table of contents, with Linear Burn blending applied to the Hillshade layer. It was all working as expected, and still exports the layout to PDF correctly, but when I'm viewing the map view or layout view, all the layers above the hillshade have stopped displaying, making editing the map really annoying. As soon as I turn the hillshade off, or just turn the blending back to Normal, then it all works as it should. I'm going to go with (another) bug, but I'll give it until Monday to be taught otherwise. If nobody has any tips for fixing this, I'll log (another) support request and update back here when I get an answer.

Just received this update; "Thank you for your patience as we have investigated this issue. I just wanted to update you on this case. After extensive testing, it does appear that there is an issue with the Distinct function when used in the Table Attributes option for Dynamic Text. We were able to replicate this issue and found that a blank output was returned when applying the Distinct function as outlined in the Esri Community post that you sent through. Because of this, we have lodged a bug on the issue BUG-000137676: Unable to remove duplicates using 'Distinct' Arcade function in Table Attribute Value Dynamic Text in ArcGIS Pro. " Hopefully see a fix in 2.8!

In the past, I've seen presentations from ESRI and partners (think one was Auckland City Council in New Zealand) that showed the live(?) location of mobile contractors undertaking public works (not public - in house only). I believe this was part of a WorkForce demo. I assume these functions are enabled by the Tracker feature in Field Maps? Can ESRI products consume live location data feeds from external applications as well (i.e. a fleet of emergency vehicles)?

Hi @ColinLawrence. I don't know if this is possible now, but could the track that is currently set to 72 hours be changed to a number of vertices or distance travelled? I.e. show last 1000 points, or last 10,000 metres, so whether you've travelled a lot in a day or a little each day over a week, the track would always be there up to a pre-defined length. This type of behaviour is what a lot of people in our organisation are used to from long term use of the OziExplorer app, and anything that we can do to help bring over those "basic" functions helps with converting the masses to Field Maps.

I noticed it was a bit difficult to know if it was doing anything when I used it this morning too. I also found I had to refresh the item I was updating the metadata for to make it reflect the updates on the Metadata display. It was very sticky and added to the confusion. ArcGIS Pro in general is actually annoying like that - having to refresh folders and GDB's to see changes and it not happening automatically when you navigate away and then come back to them.

When creating charts to be used in a layout, you can turn the chart legend on or off from within the chart window and this is reflected in any linked chart frames. It would be handy to be able to separately control a charts legend visibility in chart frames and chart windows. Work flows where this could be useful is where you have a chart that is used in multiple layouts. In one layout, the chart symbols match the dominant layer symbology in a map frame and thus are cover by the map legend (so chart legend is turned off) but when the same chart is used in a different layout with less focus on a map (or no map), the chart legend would be turned on instead.

Thanks @TomBole and @KoryKramer I feel we have overseen that button. I thought I'd clicked on every option. But if it exists, then great. I might still suggest what you've both inferred though so that you can control the legend for charts separately between chart frames in a layout and chart windows. I can see that being useful in its own right. If you mark this post as already implemented, I'll create a new suggestion with more clarity.
