A Zendel The geolocation button is already included in the application, but it may not be visible depending on the settings for your ArcGIS organization/web server. As browsers have increased security, they have begun blocking content that is deemed a security risk, such as geolocation. Your app will have a geolocation button if it is hosted in a location with SSL enabled. On a web server, this involves installing a certificate, and in ArcGIS Online, this means turning on the SSL option in your organization settings. CAUTION doing this will impact all the content hosted in your organization and can break maps and apps! Here is more information: Increased web API security in Google Chrome | ArcGIS Blog

I am not sure on level 1 vs level 2. To use this credential-containing service in only a select few locations (such as just this app), I suggest following the steps in that blog for setting a referrer. This doesn't secure the service, but it makes it difficult to access though means other than the app and will be enough to keep people from accidentally using it other places.

Here are two help topics that address the questions listed above: Create maps - Crowdsource Reporter | ArcGIS for Local Government Configure Crowdsource Reporter app - Crowdsource Reporter | ArcGIS for Local Government To summarize these topics to address the specific questions posed above: Maps and layers do NOT need to be shared with Everyone to be accessed in the application, but accessing non-public content requires you to access the application by clicking the ArcGIS button on the sign in page and you must use credentials that have access to the content. To access the app as a guest or using social media, the layers, map, and app must be shared with Everyone. Maps that contain layer that have Add and Update capabilities, have editable fields in the popup, AND are shared with the group configured in the application are shown in the app. To remove a map from the app, unshare it from this group; to add a map, share it with the group. To see uneditable layers in the app, you must add the layer to all the maps where you want it displayed, and you must enable this capability in the app config. To restrict where features can be drawn, add an uneditable polygon layer to every map where you would like to restrict submissions. This layer must have the same name in the TOC of all maps, but the layers can point to different services and they can have different geographies. Definition queries and filters are also honored. Specify the name used for this/these layer(s) in the app configuration. I am not able to reproduce the issue mentioned above with regards to accessing records. The details of any report are displayed when I click the report from the list or from the map. Can you be more specific about how you are expecting to access the report? -Allison

Carl Townsend You are correct - you can use your own locator service and that will not consume credits. Here are the instructions for configuring the widget in ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS: Near Me widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS I would like to note that Near Me does not consume credits unless routing is enabled and configured.

Alexis Handelman Manager is only designed to show the first table and there isn't an easy way to modify this. A JS developer could probably make the necessary changes to support this, but it would require hosting the app on your own web server. I'm not aware of another app that would provide a nice editing experience for multiple tables. The Data tab of the Details page for the item (if it's a hosted service) might be your best bet. I understand your Manager use case and I've put in an enhancement request to add support for more tables in a future release. add support for multiple related tables · Issue #246 · Esri/crowdsource-manager · GitHub

I had this happen to me once before. Sometimes it seems that the task doesn't recognize the changes you have made. Could you try it again, but make sure that it has finished 'spinning' after the last change before you hit 'Run'. If it doesn't 'spin' after your last edit (like it should do after all edits) you might need to click in the white space of the task window (anywhere outside the domain table) to make it commit that last change, then click 'Run'. If that doesn't fix it - maybe double-check that your map contains the same layer you are updating? We've all done this If that all looks good and you still aren't seeing the changes, let me know!

Jay Hodny The Solution Deployment Tool doesn't require you to know the name of the domain in order to update the values. After deploying the solution, go to Configure and ArcGIS Solution in the Solutions Deployment Tool. Click 'Next Step', and 'Skip' to advance to the place where you can update domains. Navigate to your portal/organization and choose the layer that you'd like to update. Note that the SDT is updating the published layer, not a feature class on disk. Choose the field with the domain that you'd like to update. The table in the panel will update to show the existing domain values. You can use this UI to add, remove, and update the domain values. When you are done, click Run to execute the changes. -Allison

Hmmmm....I'm running out of ideas without being able to see your app myself. Try reaching out to Esri Support. They can set up a screenshare so that they can see what's going on for themselves. That would be the most efficient way to get this resolved.

Hi Brittany, You will need to point the app at your own web map by updating the webmap id, and if your layer schema is at all different than the one that is provided you will need to verify that the field names specified in the activity settings section match exactly what is in your data. I believe that the Title parameter in that section must also match the name of your activities layer in the webmap. It is hard to guess at what might be tripping the app up without seeing it, so I'll leave you in Matt & Mike's hands to troubleshoot further -Allison

Yes, this seems to be correct. It appears to me as well that this parameter should control the zoom level, but the widget seems to always return to the default scale of the map. I've submitted an issue to look into changing this at a future release. -Allison
