Hello, We just updated our crime mapping application to be fed near real time and so now we are looking to have our update our Web App Builder to provide a better user experience. We are wanting the field values in the filter widgets to be dynamic as the data changes so that it, on load shows the dates as being between the Current Date - 30 Days and the Current Date. I tried following the instructions that Jake Skinner‌ posted in his Document https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-8191 and it worked for the Web Map but doesn't seem to work for the Value field of the filter in the attached image of the JSON code. We are only using ArcGIS Online and are looking to avoid putting the app hosted on our IIS because the whole reason we switched to ArcGIS Online was to take traffic away from our IIS. Does anyone know if this is possible to do? CC: MTwietmeyer-esristaff‌

Hi Kory Kramer‌ in a situation where you have a field that has a UNC path to a document, you can't put in to the hyperlink "{field}" you would have to put in "file:\\\{field}". If however you have a field with a URL the the hyperlink "{field}" will work. This is what our support analyst Scott H. advised in the resolution of Case # 01980942.

Sara_EL_MALKI‌ Portal will not consume service credits unless you assign a proxy named user in order to bring in services from ArcGIS Online. So if you are not using services from ArcGIS Online that consume service credits (i.e. Geocoding, GeoEnrichment, Routing, etc.) it will not use Service Credits.

Charles Kimmel‌ We here are the City of Visalia have logged 2 enhancement requests. The first is ENH-000107704 which is to Make ArcGIS Pro honor system's default web browser and the second is ENH-000107706 which is to Allow ArcGIS Pro to use the default file handler when clicking hyperlinks to files. For both of these enhancements, the product team has already come back said that those are in the Product Plan. So it will be in there eventually but we just don't know when. Kory Kramer‌ - Do you think that we could have the documentation updated for the Configure pop-ups—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop to note how to link to a specific file using file:\\\{field}? I haven't seen that in the documentation and I didn't know about it until Support told me. I think that many users would benefit from this knowledge.

Charles Kimmel‌ I have gotten it to work. Here is the documentation: Configure pop-ups—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop. Also one thing is that if it a path to a document stored on a file share then you would need to put as the hyperlink file:\\\{Field}. You should be aware that there is an issue currently with ArcGIS Pro where it opens PDF's in IE and IE has an issue where if you have Acrobat Pro set as your default PDF handler, it could take up to a minute to load the PDF in IE.

laura.thompson2‌ ArcGIS Pro does not have the Schamtics extensions you would need to use ArcMap in order to use that extensions. Are you using the software from the trial or did you purchase it. If you purchased it, you can download 10.2 from my.esri.com.

We had the same issue with our 10.2.2 Server, Tech Support is trying to fix the issue where we are restarting our server 4-5 times a week but we have found that it generally fixes itself when you restart the server. What is the RAM utilization on the Server? If you look in the logs are you getting a "DBMS deadlock victim" error. If so that is the same situation we are coming across. I hope this helps

lee.davis‌ Append does honor feature selection. On a monthly basis I preform and export of our crimes to our archival database and I select those that are older than 1 year old or older and then append them to other feature class. Could you elaborate on what issues you have had with the Field Mapping of the Append tool?

You have a typo: you have "from argis.gis import gis" according to the API reference, it is "from arcgis.gis import gis"

For GeoEvent Server, you would need ArcGIS Enterprise. From then you can take the resulting feature service and bring that into ArcGIS Online. What is it that you are looking to do with GeoEvent and what is the limiting factor for not using ArcGIS Enterprise with GeoEvent Server?
