Azin Sharaf wrote: 4-core license model is for ArcGIS Server site or ArcGIS Server machines? What happens if we have 1 ArcGIS Server site and two machines (each has 4 cores) (HA mode)? Then you are required to buy two (2) 4-core Enterprise Standard or Advanced licensing for each discrete installation instance. FYI: 4-core Enterprise ArcGIS Server is a separate SKU vs buying additional core licenses. The wording would be as follows - Any discrete NODE (VM) must start with 4-core license purchase. Each discrete setup can add additional cores (any number) thereafter (separate SKU when purchasing) Any discrete site can be added to a SITE. (this used to be called NODES and CLUSTERS).

Don't suppose you are aware of any other custom one that can run locally? Some Corporate environments security shut down allowing use of cloud based calls, including Google Analytics.

Perhaps the google statement should answer your question enough? Google makes no claims as to the accuracy of the coordinates in Google Earth. These are provided for entertainment only and should not be used for any navigational or other purpose requiring any accuracy whatsoever. Our imagery varies from sub-meter resolution in major cities to 15 meter resolution for most of the earth’s surface, with a global base resolution of 1KM. Since our database is constantly being updated, we cannot state a specific resolution for any geographic region. Google acquires imagery from many different sources with many different file formats, projections and spectral characteristics. All imagery sources are fused into a single global database with a proprietary format that has been developed for the specific purpose of streaming to our client software. the answer to your question, 'how accurate' really depends on where and what the source was. could range from 2meters to many meters... the decision is really then, how accurate do you NEED it to be. I see legal boundaries cut through buildings on imagery for a reason... its not accurate enough.

if it's useful, this is how it is done with WABde and the result is more of what is expected from the OP. that no popup container shows up at all if there is no information when the action click occurs. File: Server\apps\##\jimu.js\utils.js 'dojo/aspect' ... add aspect to the function() ... add the following lines (location in code in image) // hide the info window popup by default html.setStyle(map.infoWindow.domNode, "visibility", "hidden"); aspect.before(map.infoWindow, "setContent", function(method, args){ // show the info window if there are features, otherwise hide it html.setStyle(map.infoWindow.domNode, "visibility", map.infoWindow.features ? "visible": "hidden"); });

It is recommended to leave the configuration of a NAS appliance to a 'network' / IS / IT specialist. Not for a GIS 'anyone' to tinker with unless it is the GIS groups dedicated appliance and must be managed by them for whatever reason. NAS typically is shared with more than just the GIS group and is more of an organization IS backbone appliance. Its great to 'know about it' but not recommended you act on it. Hi Randall, In my case, I had, and it was brutal. Was multiple weeks of conference calls and deep diving and I was in a position with no luxury of time due to high business demands and limited resourcing. EMC (the vendor for Isilon), eventually figured out how to get the NAS running without AGS issues, however, I had created a clustered environment mirroring the setup but used EMCs vMAX disks (SAN) and the performance was 10 fold different. EMC failed to determine why the performance 'sucked' with the NAS in its configuration. I had to pull the plug when we had reached week four and several 'specialists' from the vendor and the possible weeks/months more internal process for Isilon changes (because it was used as a 'network' drive for many business groups) I went out of my way to resubmit an architectural change and introducing a single point of failure with the SAN setup. Far better than tinkering with that NAS let me tell you.

For reference, the best approach I have found to work without ever having an issue is to do the following: Add a clientCache control (in the web.config) and set the controlMaxAge to your desired time. e.g. <!--expire after 1 day--> <clientCache cacheControlMode="UseMaxAge" cacheControlMaxAge="1.00:00:00"/>

More than likely, whomever administers or configured your NAS has OpsLocks enabled. Disable OpsLock and your issues will likely be gone. I prefer using SAN for the superior performance of a NAS. I had posed similar earlier in the thread. Isilon is a NAS appliance.

You can start here: Licensing & Attribution | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.8 You can dive deeper here: Full Master Agreements - Products and Services Terms of Use and Changes | Esri Legal There are additional links and legal jargin as well (such as the details on the Tile transaction limits and yearly limits to go offline. You will more than likely end up having to talk to your local ESRI rep anyway to make the quotes and POs.

Pro 2.0.x has a bug that fails opening .tpk files. Funny thing is that the latest version Pro 2.1.3 has fixed this, but then esri broke the ability to Create Map Tile Package which HAD worked in 2.0.x. Many ESRI products read .tpk files, including desktop products, Enterprise products and developer products.

You will have to change to using the Google API for your web App (UI) if it is a must. It is against the Legal agreements outlined with Google to use Google Street view without using the Google API. This widget was built years ago and was stripped due to this legal issue. Some light reading: https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-2991

The synopsis: Business would like to have survey 1-2-3 do a 'validation' of the survey content while in the field rather than having to post process and depending on certain values then have to go back to gather supplemental information. Benefit is the field worker can do supplemental data collection and/or comments while still in the field. For example: A spatial focus area with assets is either compliant or non-compliant. Survey 1-2-3 is great for collecting these business rules in place. Is the asset x, how tall is it, does it have a plate etc, (condition of assets, meeting regulatory requirements etc.). The idea: That survey 1-2-3 can take various surveyed entered values. e.g. IF '[specifc value]' is selected in a combo box, and 'THIS' Is checked and 'THIS' text box has a value greater than 10 THEN a comment box with a question must be filled out (required) before survey can be entered. This removes the post process 'in compliance or not' and if not, why. - and would require going back to visit the site.
