ArcGIS Pro 2.9.5; Oracle 18c 10.7.1. EGDB; mosaic dataset When creating a mosaic dataset, save default band colors right in the dataset. The band colors would be preserved when a user adds the raster to the map from Catalog. For example, save Band_4 as red, instead of Band 1, to always display the near infrared Band 4 by default. I'm wondering if it would be useful to toggle raster bands on and off in the Contents pane, similar to what we can do with vector layers: Toggle visibility for individual Categories on Symbology tab For example, toggle off Band_1 and toggle on Band_4 (near infrared). I'm aware that there is similar functionality in the right-click menu of each symbology class. I'm wondering if that functionality would be more intuitive as checkboxes. I recently learned that my organization has had a fourth band (near infrared) in our ortho imagery for the past 10 years. I had no idea; that would have been useful information to know. Yes, it would have been nice if the imagery supplier had informed staff of the near-infrared band data. But also, it would also be helpful if Pro could indicate that there are additional bands that are not currently displayed. For example, a note or symbol in the Contents layer indicating that other bands are available: Or something better. I can change the symbology: change red from Band_1 to Band_4. That can be done in the Contents pane or the Symbology pane. ArcGIS Pro 3.4.3:

ArcGIS Pro 2.9.5; mosaic dataset Oracle 18c 10.7.1 EGDB; or .TIF tile/file It's my understanding that some ortho imagery is 4-band RGBN; the fourth band is near infrared: First Base Solutions orthos (Canada) Ontario GeoHub orthos For example, DRAPE 2024 - Digital Raster Acquisition Project Eastern Ontario (DRAPE) 2024 - 1km Index, SCOOP 2023, etc. How can I view the fourth band in ArcGIS Pro? When I drag an image from Catalog into a map, I just see the first three RGB bands, not the fourth near infrared band (RGBN). Is there a way to make the image show up as red-coloured imagery, similar to the old Ontario CIR imagery? https://geohub.lio.gov.on.ca/documents/ccb2eb76a7b94fbc9e998d940a9cb471/about Related: Ortho imagery .TIF colors are washed out in photo viewing software Indicate that raster imagery has other hidden bands Contents — Toggle raster bands on/off

ArcGIS Pro 2.9.5 It would be helpful if there were a way for an organization to disable raster mosaic dataset footprints for all users, for all datasets. The footprint layers are not useful in our case. Every time a user adds an ortho layer to a map, they need to turn off the footprint layer. That seems unnecessary.

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.3; file geodatabase In the attribute table, I've selected a few rows and used the Show Selected Records option. Then I used CTRL+click to highlight a couple of fields. I want to copy the values from the highlighted fields to the clipboard. I don't want to copy the entire selected table. As far as I can tell, there isn't an easy way to copy specific fields, or just a single field, to the clipboard. Could that functionality be added? I don't want to hide all unwanted fields, copy the whole table, then unhide all the fields. And I don't want to copy the entire selected table, paste into Excel, and delete the unwanted fields.

It’s my understanding that one-to-first joins on enterprise geodatabase data are non-deterministic. Despite what the Add Join documentation says, the related record with the lowest OBJECTID is not used. Instead, an arbitrary related record is used; the related record can change without an apparent reason. That's problematic from a data analysis perspective. Related: Choose if join will be one-to-first or one-to-many This idea is to make one-to-first joins be deterministic on enterprise geodatabase data.

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.3; Oracle 19c 11.3 EGDB When I create a Route Event Layer, the tool automatically uses the subtype from the non-spatial linear referencing event table to create Unique Values symbology in the output event layer: That's not what I want. Each time I create a route event layer I have to remove the unique value symbology by switching it to single symbol symbology. It's a nuisance to do that every time I create a route event layer. Could a checkbox option be added to the Make Route Event Layer geoprocessing tool to disable that subtype/unique values functionality?

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.3; Oracle 19c 11.3 EGDB: Attribute Table > right-click a field header > Custom Sort The user sets up a custom sort and clicks OK. When they re-open the Custom Sort dialog, the previous sorting is preserved, but the OK button is greyed out. It seems somewhat unintuitive that the OK button is greyed out, even though the sorting setup is valid. I figure it's greyed out because no change has been made to the sorting, so there's nothing new to commit. If the user makes a change, the OK button will become clickable again. With that said, greying out that button seems unnecessary. If a user wants to open the dialog and click OK, I say let them do it. That would be more consistent with other parts of Pro such as Properties dialogs like Map Properties.

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.3; Oracle 19c 11.3 EGDB: Attribute Table > right-click a field header > Custom Sort The values in the Fields picklist are sorted alphabetically. I can see how that would be useful in some cases for finding a field in a long list of fields. However, I find it annoying because I'm accustomed to the table's field order and where to find a given field in a list. I set up that field ordering on purpose according to our business needs. Could an optional checkbox be added to the Custom Sort dialog to preserve the table's field order?
