Hello @MichaelHarris7 -- Great question, thanks for asking. @JayantaPoddar is correct. The best way to prepare for an exam is to review the Exam Information Guide and conduct a self-assessment to identify any skills gaps. Then the Esri Learning Plans and software documentation can be used as additional study references to review the software best practices. Esri Certification Vendor Partner Account Management If you recently became Esri certified, it’s time to ensure your vendor partner account profiles are updated to ensure that you can tell the world about your achievement! To ensure that your certification achievements are included in the Directory of Certified Individuals, Esri Success Stories, or your My Esri Academy Dashboard select your Primary ArcGIS Account and complete the process below. Pearson VUE Account Begin with Pearson VUE, the first Vendor Partner account you created when beginning your certification journey. Sign In at the Pearson VUE Home Page for Esri: https://home.pearsonvue.com/esri From the Dashboard, click the My Profile tab to review your account settings for: Personal, Primary Contact Information, and Communication Preferences. Please contact customer service for any information that cannot be updated online. You'll want to mindful of the email address and company information, as this information should match your Esri ArcGIS Account, Alpine CertMetrics, and Credly account profiles. Return to your Pearson VUE Account Dashboard and Select the Additional Information tab to update your current relationship and customer number. This information will also need to match in your Esri ArcGIS Account, Alpine CertMetrics, and Credly account profiles. This is critical because as per the Program Agreement, without completing the opt in process, Esri will not be able to promote your achievement within our various promotional opportunities, including the Directory of Certified Individuals, Esri Success Stories, or your My Esri Academy Dashboard. CertMetrics Account After you've updated your Pearson VUE account, login to your CertMetrics account, update your profile "Opt-In" selection. CertMetrics is the account used to review your score reports and use the 'SHARE' section to access Credly, allowing you quick access to download your digital badge and e-certificate. Sign In to CertMetrics for Esri From the My CertMetrics Profile, select the Opt-In Settings and update the Certification Candidate Policy, Relationship to Esri, and Customer Number of the organization you belong to. Take time to also review the My Information, Addresses, and Email History to ensure your account profile is accurate. Visit the 'Share' section and 'Login to Credly' to access your digital badge and e-certificate. Once you have updated your Pearson VUE and CertMetrics profiles, your information will automatically import to the Esri Directory of Certified Individuals and the Esri Success Stories tool, allowing you to post your story and easily interact with and share your certification achievement with a global audience. If you have any questions about the process, complete our Contact Us Form for support. Credly Account Sign In to Credly for Esri Review your Account Settings to ensure your email matches your other Vendor Partner Accounts. Review your Organizations to ensure your Auto-Accept list allows Esri to issue your digital badges. Take time to also review your Profile, Notifications, Career Preferences, Learning Goals, Privacy + Security to ensure you get the most from this account. Congrats on achieving your certification and we wish you the best on the rest of your certification journey!

Graduation, job change, job change again – there are many reasons that you might have multiple free or subscription-based ArcGIS accounts. A best practice is to maintain one primary ArcGIS Account throughout your career. If you have multiple accounts, it's important to aggregate your ArcGIS accounts and elect a primary account to connect your Esri Academy Training history and your Certification Achievements. Select Your Primary ArcGIS Account If you wish to aggregate your Esri Academy Training and Esri Technical Certification records, you’ll need to select a primary ArcGIS account. You may already have one, but if you do not, you will need to create one. The process is simple and only requires an email address to get started. Click the link and follow the steps to create an ArcGIS Account - https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/create-account. Identify the ‘Username’ of Your Multiple ArcGIS Accounts To ensure you can access your Esri Academy Training and Certification records through one access point, you will need to identify your multiple accounts. You can do so by clicking the ArcGIS Online 'sign-in' button, then click the ‘Forgot Username’ link. You will enter your email address and a notification will be sent to you with all your public and organizational accounts associated with that email address. If you have multiple email addresses, the process can be repeated to ensure all your accounts are located. Contact Esri Accounts Team By aggregating your ArcGIS accounts to a primary account, you ensure your Esri Academy Training history and your Technical Certification achievements will be accurately reported and viewable in your Esri Academy "My Academy" dashboard. Learn more about viewing your certification achievements in Esri Academy here. A quick email to the Esri Accounts Team to move all your training records to your primary account will complete the process. You will need to outline the following information: name, primary username, additional usernames, and a request to combine all known accounts. Once completed, your records will be in one location and will report across all Esri systems under your primary username. If you need follow-up support to verify ArcGIS accounts or combine multiple ArcGIS accounts, contact accounts@esri.com to ensure that your learning and achievements are recognized and reported. Once your primary account has been selected, update your Esri Certification Vendor Partner Accounts, allowing your certification achievements to be included in the Directory of Certified Individuals, Esri Success Stories, and your My Academy Dashboard in Esri Academy. Stay Connected and Engage with Us! We hope you will subscribe to our program subscriptions , allowing you to stay current with our program’s latest and greatest blogs and newsletters. -- Best to you on your certification journey!

Something to keep in mind is that each exam question provided within the web course was written to test knowledge about a specific exam objective. The exam sections and objectives are listed for each exam on their specific web pages on the certification website. The questions listed within the web course are questions that were on the exam's beta test, but may have been categorized by the test results as too easy. Meaning that people who passed the exam were able to answer this question correctly and with minimal time spent on the question. These questions are still of great value to a candidate looking to understand what a scenario multiple choice or multiple select exam question would look like and for a candidate looking to conduct a self-assessment. To conduct the self-assessment, look at the question in the web course. The question specifies which exam section the question aligns. Now look at the exam's sections and objectives on the exam's web page. Are you able to determine which objective the question was written to test? Ask yourself, "Do I know this part of the objective or the entire concept as defined by the exam objective and section?" Another way to conduct a through self-assessment would be to look at the web course's correct answer link. This link directs the user to the software documentation. Ask yourself, "Do I understand all the concepts under this section of the documentation or only a singular part of the process?" Best wishes on your certification journey!
