We regularly conduct virtual sessions for ArcGIS QuickCapture early adopters to learn what's coming in upcoming releases. These sessions are hosted by the Esri Holistic Testing Lab and are open to Esri Staff, Esri International Distributors, Esri Partners and, of course, ArcGIS users. Our next session will be July 5th from 9:00AM - 12:00PM (US Pacific Time Zone). We will give a few demos of the new features coming up and give you a chance to test the Beta software yourself. Our biggest aim with these sessions is to collect your feedback, so we are in the best shape possible for release. You can register for this virtual event through this form. The highlights for this session include resolution to the following ArcGIS Ideas: Multiple button user inputs per button Project user input lists to leverage ArcGIS field domains A simple but essential improvement to button user inputs: Choose if a button user input should show before or after a line/polygon is collected We will also present progress with the following: Support for on-screen digitizing: Collect GIS features by simply drawing on the map. You can combine this mode with location-based data capture. Enhanced support for online content referenced in mobile map packages: Say you configure your project with an offline basemap but you still want to show some overlay data on top referencing a live feature layer. Is that possible? Yes it is and you will learn how to do that. ArcGIS Indoors support (we will at the very least present our plans to support Indoors before end of 2022) If you are interested in joining us complete this registration form.

Hi @SLouq check this blog: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/working-with-z-values-in-survey123/ba-p/895011 Very old post, but the content is still current. Also, in the Survey123 mobile app, go to Settings-Location to set the altitude type as appropriate for your GNSS receiver

This works for me. I just added an extra parenthesis at the end and replaced IF with if if(selected(${sidewalk},"yes"), (int(${obscured_adress}) + int(${broken_windows}) + int(${yard_debris}) + int(${untrimmed_yard}) + int(${roofing_cond}) + int(${paint_exterior_cond}) + int(${physical_appearance}) + int(${sidewalk_kind})) , (int(${obscured_adress}) + int(${broken_windows}) + int(${yard_debris}) + int(${untrimmed_yard}) + int(${roofing_cond}) + int(${paint_exterior_cond}) + int(${physical_appearance}))) Attaching another approach to do this

Hi. With that error message you see, it is likely that attachments in the layer have been disabled. When attachments are disabled in a layer with attachments, all attachments are lost. Survey123 shows that error message when attempting to send an attachment on a layer with attachments disabled. Double check your layer to make sure attachments are enabled. If you are using a hosted feature layer view, check the view too.

You are right. I can reproduce this problem. @UğurBaranSarıbaş I will add a note in our internal development repo. However, it will be best for you to open an official Esri Tech Support incident so you can have a ticket to follow up. As a workaround, you can force the web app to use the 3.13 version by adding ?version=3.13 to the url.

The June 2022 update to ArcGIS QuickCapture includes support for Bulgarian language, new device variables and improvements in the QuickCapture designer. The build number for the mobile app in the Apple, Android and Windows app stores is 1.14. New device variables ArcGIS QuickCapture can collect a lot of information with the single tap of a button and that’s in part thanks to device variables. As the author of a QuickCapture project, you can use device variables to have GIS attributes automatically populate. There are many device variables to help you collect information about the person collecting data (username, email, full name), the user’s device (device model, operating system, QuickCapture app version), the user’s location (latitude, longitude, elevation, horizontal accuracy), camera (heading, pitch, roll), time when the data is collected and much more. In this release you will find four new device variables. Use them to collect information about the device battery charge level, state (plugged in, not plugged in), power mode (balanced, battery saver) and power source (USB, AC, wireless, battery). You can use these new device variables to better understand how field crews manage the battery life of their devices. Upcoming layer requirements for enabling photo uploads For compatibility with old (prior to 10.4) versions of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS QuickCapture supports adding photos to layers configured with supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds = false. This property has an important effect on how data, and attachments, are added into a layer. Having this property set to true is important to guarantee the most robust data upload behavior when working in poor network conditions. Starting with this update, you will see a warning in QuickCapture designer if this property is set to false in a layer included in your project. This help topic shows you can you configure your layers to have supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds = true. In early 2023 we will end support for working with layers where supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds = false. Check the ArcGIS QuickCapture deprecation notices in the Esri Tech Support site for more details. QuickCapture designer enhancements Some of you requested that we make the QR code of a project accessible even before the project is shared. As shown in the screenshot below, the QR code is now always available. A new set of new icons has also been added to the gallery. Other enhancements Bulgarian language support added Optimizations in the mobile app to reduce network traffic when working with ArcGIS location tracking For a complete list of what's new in this and previous releases, check out his help topic. What's coming next Our next update is planned for late August 2022. As usual, we will make Beta builds available through the QuickCapture Early Adopter site. Some features in the works include: Multiple button user inputs A simple but essential Improvement for Button user inputs Need the Project User Input to dynamically utilize the field domain

Hi. How data is aggregated depends largely on how the surveys were originally authored. Option 1 (One master survey): Since surveys share some of the questions, one could have created a single master survey and use conditional visibility expressions to hide/show questions and groups as appropriate. In this case all data gets aggregated automatically, since there is one big single survey. Option 2 (One master layer, many surveys): Having one master layer with all possible questions, one can author multiple surveys and have them all target the master layer. In this case, data gets aggregated automatically as well as there is only one layer. Option 3: Many surveys are authored each with its own layer. In this case, you can use the Append geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro to load data from one layer into another. When you run the Append tool, you specify how fields from the source and target layers match. This GP tool can also be run using a Python script. If you go to the item details page of a layer, you will also find an Append option which does a similar thing. If you use that tool, you need to first export the data you want to aggregate into a CSV or some other format. If you have many surveys and data comes to them regularly, you eventually will want to consolidate surveys into a single layer (Option 2 or 1). This is something that you can do with Survey123 Connect only. Here are some resources for Append: Append GP tool Append layer tool There are other approaches in ArcGIS to aggregate data. One particularly flexible is ArcGIS Data Interoperability. It may not be practical for you to consolidate all surveys into a single layer. If that is the case, Data Interoperability may be your more robust option.

This functionality is now available for testing through the Survey123 Early Adopter site. Looking forward to your feedback. Below is a partial screenshot of the doc. To test this, you need to have version 3.15 Beta (available through Early Adopter site). @JamesWilson2 @Galen_S_MnDOT @Marc_Graham @DrewThompson @BrianBaldwin @AnneDunckel
