We will be adding a new property to the project JSON in version 1.13 (due March 2021), to address this issue. If you go into the JSON editor and change the value for the featureRequestMode property from onInteractionNoCache to onInteractionCache (and then save the project) you will no longer see the issue. However, making this change means that there will be a slight lag in web map updates when online. It can take a few seconds for any newly submitted features to appear. In a future release we will make this a setting in the designer, so you wont need to do this manually.

The original issue was that the app was crashing when re-opening after configuring it to use an external GNSS receiver. There was no problem when the receiver was initially configured, it was only after closing & re-opening the app (attempts to automatically reconnect to receiver) that the crash occured on the splash screen. @CaraSmith1 is this the case for you?

Hi Ofra, The QuickCapture designer is included with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8 and later. This means that you can create and deploy QuickCapture projects in a disconected environment (if you have ArcGIS Enterprise). However, there is no standalone version of the designer. Thanks John

You could also use the device pitch variable and capture continous points. You would leave your phone horizontal in the car, and each captured point would have a pitch value (0 to 45 degress +/-) written to the assigned field. At the same time you could capture the road as continuous line. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/quickcapture/help/editproject.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_623F8C96724944728C33991B959B693F Ideally you would test the reported values for the device you are using, to make sure that these look sensible - as the sensors in different devices may or may not be as reliable.
