Hi James I have just realised that we are experiencing the same issue. I have a Survey123 Form with a list of Observers that is continually being updated. I have noticed that the although a new code value is being displayed in the Web Map the label is not. So based on this post I assumed that it was because the list of values is not being updated on republish However when I try to add the new value to the field through portal the Save button is greyed out and I cant save the new record. It only seems to be happening for this Observer field, I can add a new value to other fields that have domains. Do you know any reasons as to why I cant save a new value using this method? Cheers Chris

Thanks James I got that working, can I assume though that we would need to convert this into Lats and Longs in order to parse it through to a geoshape question? I have built this link and although it opens up the appropriate survey and does contain the coordinates, is doesn't create the geoshape. I have also tried substituting center for geoshape and the geoshape question name arcgis-survey123://?itemID=6ffa91c679cd4ec99a6482e70dd3158e¢er=-4368437.09908237%2015568468.47895944%3B-4368478.018118211%2015569744.148226732%3B-4368584.9584379345%2015569765.78726955%3B-4369031.402026243%2015569856.124205573%3B-4369455.085184722%2015569941.862870062%3B-4369426.875276136%2015568806.965103844%3B-4368476.830919922%2015568477.717157682%3B-4368437.09908237%2015568468.47895944 Just to add, I have managed to get the script to convert to lat and longs, but its still not creating a geoshape in Survey123. Is the something else in the url OR the form that needs to be done in order to construct the shape? arcgis-survey123://?itemID=6ffa91c679cd4ec99a6482e70dd3158e¢er=-34.926006640680235%20138.59669421630525%3B-34.92639395082917%20138.59672384658316%3B-34.926403392567615%20138.59653796524657%3B-34.92640749222722%20138.59645756316633%3B-34.92642486038284%20138.59611928621797%3B-34.926311593671414%20138.5961108695519%3B-34.92627059577672%20138.5961077648081%3B-34.92603749657436%20138.59608996445877%3B-34.926006640680235%20138.59669421630525

Thanks James What would be the syntax if we want to pass a polygon geometry from Collector to a Geoshape question in Survey123? Cheers Chris

Thanks James I checked the Portal logs and it didn't show anything unusual. Strangely, I attempted to republish the same surveys on Monday and they went through fine without any problems, and I made other changes and they still published. So not sure what us happening, whether its some publishing admin task that's not being released and is only cleared up when the servers are recycled in an evening?

Hi There There seems to be a few posts about this but nothing that really helps in my case. I have a survey that has reasonable long choice and external_choices lists as well as 2 csv tables in the media folder for pulldata operations. Up until a few days ago I have had no issues with them (both my dev and prod versions), I was make small adjustments and republishing without any issues. Then the other day I made one small change, changing a text field to hidden, then when I tried to republish it just seemed to get stuck on "updating survey form package". I am publishing to our own Enterprise Portal, I hadn't moved the form or Hosted feature layer out of the folder, and there is no hosted view in there either. Out of desperation I completely recreated my Dev version and it published fine...the first couple of times. I then just added a thumbnail image and now its doing the same thing again. The log file shows this: <10>1 2019-09-18T22:40:22Z ENVIT219192 Survey123ConnectforArcGIS 16312 - [AppStudio@11205 category="PortalRequest" function="onFailed" filename="PortalRequest.qml" line="99"] PortalRequest: PortalRequest failed: url https://environment.geohub.sa.gov.au/portal/sharing/rest/content/users/croberts/ea7b0c69e72e4f9daa77e9a349cd2d80/items/f648e57e23684f379dc4f807cda59184/update error { "code": 500, "message": "Internal Server Error" } The item id matches the form id in the folder in my Portal, so it exists. The only other thought I had was a timeout, however, I have a number of other surveys (albeit without as many choice lists in them) and they all publish fine. Portal version 10.7 Survey123 Connect version 3.5.166 I'm stuck any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers Chris

Hi All I have noticed that if use the folder option to use a photo from the device. Then the watermarking isn't applied. The watermark is simply based on questions answered and does work if you "take" the photo using the camera option. Is this by design or is there something I am missing. Cheers Chris

As usual, I post a question then work it out for myself 10 minutes later! For those that are interested this is the expression used to rotate the symbol based on a value: var rightrotation = 90; var leftrotation = 270; if ($feature.direction == "Right"){ return rightrotation; } else{ return leftrotation; }

I want to rotate a point symbol in a web map to point left or right based on the value from the Directions field (the values are left, right). This is for a Collector application to give the field operator a visual reference as to which side of the road the survey site is on. I assume that this would need to be done from an Arcade Expression, but I don't really know anything about Arcade and would even know where to start. I would really appreciate any pointers that anyone might have. Thanks in Advance Chris
