Hi I am playing with experience builder to create a scrollable page something similar to a storymap that contains different screen groups eg cascade and flyer. Is it possible to create quick links or a menu at the top of the scrollable page or in the header to the different screens? I have tried using the menu widget but there doesnt seen a way to link it to a screen. I have also tried the Views Navigation and Button Widget but again it doesnt seem possible to link it to a screen. Cheers Chris

I have been experiencing the same issue. Our local esri office came back to me with this: A lot of the issues the client encountered have been recently fixed in the latest ArcGIS python api relsease on 25th Sept 2023. It doesn't upgrade automatically with Pro upgrade and needs to run the upgrade code manually (!pip install arcgis --upgrade). With the latest version 2.2.0, dashboard and ExB migration are now fully supported. Please check the full release note https://developers.arcgis.com/python/guide/release-notes-220/ So it might be due to your python API version. Unfortunately, I don't have admin access on my computer and I haven't been able to get our IT dept to update it for me yet so I can't confirm as to whether this is a fix. Might be worth a look?

Hi All Is it possible to use the button widget to filter the values in a List Widget? For example I would a couple of buttons with the main stakeholder types. When the user clicks one of the Buttons, say Government, the corresponding list filters down to only show those that are a Government stakeholder. Thanks in advance

Hi All Is it possible to use the button for a record in the list widget to populate then edit that record in the associated survey in the survey123 widget? I know it would be possible selecting it from a map, but in my case the records are effectively non-spatial. So what I want is a list of records with a corresponding button allowing the user to update that record in the survey123 widget if required. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris

Hi - I used the code exactly as above to copy a dashboard from one AGOL to another, but it only copied the dashboard and not the associated web map and feature layers. The username owns all the items, any thoughts on way it only copied the dashboard? def deep_copy_content(input_list): for item in input_list: try: print("Cloning " + item.title) copy_list = [] copy_list.append(item) gis2.content.clone_items(copy_list, copy_data=True, search_existing_items=True) print("Successfully cloned " + item.title) except Exception as e: print(e) print("The function has completed") deep_copy_content(items) Cheers Chris P.S if I just copy the web map then the associated data does get copied. But when using the dashboard ID just the dashboard copies over.

Hi All I have a point layer showing deposited lots for each financial year quarter that has been intersect with 3 different levels of monitoring areas (Region, Monitoring Area, Estate). This data is then displayed in a bar graph using the DepositedQuarter field as the category and the sum of the DepositedLots field as the value. I then have a series of selectors to filter down the data based on the areas. The issue is that there are some areas that dont have any records for a quarter so the quarter disappears and the graph compresses. What I need to do is somehow create a data expression that loops though the table and if a value doesnt exist for any quarter in an area, create one an give it a 0 value in the depositedlots. That way the full category will always display the user can see a better reflection of the trend in the graph. I have made a start on creating a data expression to get a flat summary table, but I'm not all that experience with data expressions, so I would really appreciate any help or guidance. var fs = FeatureSetByPortalItem(Portal('https://xxx.maps.arcgis.com'), 'xxxxxxxxxx', 0, ["*"], false); var fs_gp = GroupBy(fs, ['DepositedQuarter','Region','Key_Area','EstateName'], [{name: 'deposits_by_quarter', expression: 'DEPOSITED_LOTS', statistic: 'SUM'}]); // Create array for holding features, feat object for populating array var features = []; var feat; // Populate feature array for (var feature in fs_gp) { feat = { 'attributes': { 'DepositedQuarter': feature['DepositedQuarter'], 'Region': feature['Region'], 'KeyArea': feature['Key_Area'], 'EstateName': feature['EstateName'], 'Deposits': feature['deposits_by_quarter'] }} Push(features, feat); }; var dowDict = { 'fields': [{ 'name': 'DepositedQuarter', 'type': 'esriFieldTypeString'}, {'name': 'Region', 'type': 'esriFieldTypeString'}, {'name': 'KeyArea', 'type': 'esriFieldTypeString'}, {'name': 'EstateName', 'type': 'esriFieldTypeString'}, {'name': 'Deposits', 'type': 'esriFieldTypeInteger'}], 'geometryType': '', 'features': features }; // Convert dictionary to feature set. var fs_dict = FeatureSet(Text(dowDict)); return GroupBy(fs_dict, ['Region', 'KeyArea','EstateName','DepositedQuarter'], [{ name: 'deposits_by_quarter', expression: 'Deposits', statistic: 'SUM'}]); Cheers, Chris

Is it possible to order a table in a specific sequence using Arcade? I am have a table based on 3 text values; Development Ready, Future Urban and Undeveloped. I have been requested to display them in the following order Development Ready, Undeveloped and Future Urban. Unfortunately the default ascending or descending based on the name don't work. I know it seems finnicky given there are only 3 values ...but that's what has been requested. So is there a way to define the order using Arcade? Cheers, Chris

Hi All I have inserted a chart and was wondering if there is a way to format the separation values along the value axis. For example in the one I have done its showing every 1k value, what i would like to do is show every 5k values so the axis doesnt look so cluttered. I would of thought this was possible but cant seem to find how to do it. Cheers Chris

Hi All I have trawled through the Forums but still cant quite out how to do this. I have embedded a Dashboard into EB using a url parameter ( https://xxxxx.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/xxxxxx#key_area={Key_Area} What I want to do is from the query widget in EB select a key area hand have to Dashboard zoom and filter based on that selection. I have added to same data source to both the query widget and the Dashboard. I know that this must be doable but for the life of me I cant get the interaction to work. I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Cheers, Chris
