I am new to ArcGIS experience builder. I did a lot of research, but was not able to find a way to filter multiple layers at once.

I have a table with multiple tabs. And each tabs contains different layers. I also have a filter widget that user can filter, and after they applied this filter, they should be able to see the filter results in each tab ( for each layer) To give a simple example,

let's say I have 3 layers for students in a college (courses, grades, books)

user can search student ids in the filter widget. As soon as they filtered the id, they should be able to see each tab (different layers) of table widget filtered according to the student id.

My problem is here, I cannot filter all the layers, only the first tab ( or the one I choose)  is being filtered, and the rest shows all information for all students.

Experience builder does not support arcade expressions or group filtering, so I tried triggers, but didn't work.

Is there any way to do it?

Group filtering capability has been added in the latest AGOL release. See details in https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-ideas/ability-to-filter-multiple-layers-base...

Group filtering of layers is supposed to come out soon (Q1 on the roadmap).

I too am waiting for this.

It would be great if we could have that option🤓

Unfortunately, the Filter widget in Experience Builder doesn't support filter layers at once now, but you can use the search widget to filter multiple layers, check this tutorial: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/experience-builder/mapping/filter-multiple-layers/

Alternatively, you can also use the query widget and configure its data action to filter multiple layers at once.

wow the Search widget is complicated for what should be pretty straight forward. I tried it. Just NO. That is not what's required.

Also, I don't want my users selecting features on the map, the Query widget only works with selected features.

When will the group filter be available in ExB?  @HonghongLi

I also tried search widget before writing here, but the result was not what I want. So, unfortunately, search widget is not an option for me.😞
